⠀⠀BEATRICE KESWICK HATED EVERYONE there was no one she enjoyed talking to, no one she liked spending time with and she mostly just tolerated her conversations with Luke Holbrook. New Ham High's quarterback would be the closest person she would call a friend. He was her confidant and she was his. They have told each other things that they wouldn't tell their other friends. But their relationship remained hidden, a secret. And Betty Kez could not careless.
⠀⠀BEATRICE KESWICK IS A MEAN GIRL She can cause the deterioration of one's self-esteem with a minimum of three words and would still a lollipop from a baby. She's the girl that the adults tell their kids to stay away from but Jason the Jock, he just can't. To Jason, there's something about the mischief in her eyes and the disregard in her smirk that makes him want to kiss her. That was all it was though, lust.

Until Betty let her guard down and began to develop feelings for Jason. After the road trip gone awry, Betty's emotions only intensified. — Their fwb relationship went from the start of senior year to the middle as it was disrupted by their mysterious transportation to New Ham. They became closer after that because they spent more time together, now Jason seeks for comfort and company (actual company) and lust slowly trickles out of him and love begins to fill him up
— Jason does have a girlfriend and Betty is the type of character who would totally disregard that fact so maybe Jason and his girlfriend were becoming rocky so Jason would seek "company" from Betty and Betty doesn't mind at all (she thinks Jason is a perfectly sculpted marble statue and tries really hard not to have the actual heart eyes emoji)
— Jason breaks up with his girlfriend, it was inevitable (anybody else suddenly have Thanos' voice in their brains??) and then him and Betty rekindle their fwb relationship but this time there's love and feelings involved and they both know but neither of them are saying anything but basically they are together but they don't have labels
— things get rocky because of the Lexie/Campbell/Harry thing and because Jason agrees, Betty is like huuuuhhh???? because she's mean but she's not genuinely mean, she's just shallow, petty mean so she's like Jason?? WhhAAt?? and that throws a spanner in the works of their relationship
