"Good morning!" I heard a raspy, yet cherry voice. I looked over my shoulder to see a shirtless alex.
I turned away before he could see me,
"Mornin'!" I replied, same cheery tone. I could hear the sound of a stool being pulled back and in behind me.
"What are you doing?" Alex asked, I turned around,a spatula in hand.
"Pancakes, now could you please go annoy clear? Shes in the garage. Oh, and before you do that, put on a shirt. Its pretty windy," I said, pointing at him with the spatula. I continued to tell him to leave and that I would call him and clear when pancakes were ready.
"What did I d-" I cut him off before he could say more.
"Go." I said, pointing up the stairs. He sighed hopping off the stool and truting towards the stairs.
I had kinda started feeling weird abput him. I got this warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach when I saw him. Especially shirtless.
Not even 5 minutes later, clear and alex came running in shouting things. I told them to shut up and one at a time to tell me what was happening.
"Ok, this might be a little difficult to hear but... we're going to sneak into the morgue to see... Tod." Clear said, looking around, I was taken aback.
"Look kimberly, I know you felt something. I know you believe me in this whole weird problem, but I think its time to start investigating by our selfs." Alex said, I couldn't get any words out so I just nodded. I felt tears stinging my eyes but I quickly blinked them away.
Alex threw his hands together and clear took over for me on the pancakes.

"This is the dumbest idea yet." I said, climbing up the ladder that clear had brought. Clear was first, I was second, then Alex. Clear smirked at me and Alex while we both shared a look of worry.
"Come on babies!" She whispered, loathing the chance we might get caught. I sighed, continuing up the ladder.
