Cleo: I can't believe your making me do a night shift with you. Why choose me? Why not someone else?

Leo: I trust you more than anyone else I work with and we've been friends for years, so it makes sense doesn't it.

Cleo: To a certain extent yes, but why tonight of all nights?

Leo: You said that you haven't been here in years, right? So I thought that you needed to memorize the museum again. Also, my co-workers reported a suspicious person lurking around the Egyptian exhibit, and that's where I happen to be right now.

Cleo: I've memorised the locations of each exhibit and making my way to the Egyptian one so we can talk in person.

Leo: Hey, question. Why wasn't June with you, Anubi and Steven when you came over? What happened to her? Ramses told me that she was corrupted, but that doesn't answer much.

Cleo: She appears to taken hold by the left over remnants of Exaton's previous powers that he yielded, and I'm working with both Exaton and Osiride to figure out why it happened in the first place.

Leo: Gah! Help me, Cleo! June is here attacking me!

Cleo: I'm on my way, Leo! Just hold tight!

When I arrive at the scene, Leo is barely standing and June is lording over him.

Cleo: Stop this at once, June! I don't need a repeat of Exaton and Kefer. The kingdom from which you were born, doesn't need a repeat of the same war they fought.

June: . . . I don't need a lecture from you, Mother. I know what I'm doing and I don't need you to tell me anything.

Cleo: Your immaturity will be you downfall, and until you can see reason and understanding again June . . .

Leo: You will be banished from earth

June: . . . You know nothing

'I know a lot more than you think, June'

Cleo: . . . so in summary, it's you two all over again and I'm not sure if I can return June to her normal state.

Kefer: If you can save my brother, you can save your daughter.

Cleo: It's not so simple, Kefer. I can see myself in the both of you, and . . . I can't seem to see myself in my daughter.

'All I want is for my daughter to be home with me and the boys'

Exaton: All we need to do is find a way to get through to her, that's all. I'm sure we can come up with something.

Cleo: I hope so. I want June home with all of us, here in the Grand Pyramid.

After a week of spending time in John's place that we got from him, Cleo was staring out of the window with a blank stare. And I think I know what she's thinking about.

Anubi: Still thinking about June?

Cleo: Huh, oh . . . yeah. I want her to be home with us so we can be a whole family again.

Anubi: I do, too.

Steven: same here. I want my older sister back because I miss her.

Cleo: We do as well, Steven.

Steven: Does this mean I'll have to go to school?

Anubi: We'll see, Steven. We'll see.

Cleo seems to be doing alright, despite the whole situation with her daughter. My only wish for Cleo at the moment is for her to have her daughter back. June was like a second daughter to me and all I want to do for Cleo, is to help raise June in a way that she can grow and strive.

But not like this, and I really don't want to have to fight her again.

Supervisor: Focus, Leo. You're distracted by your own thoughts again.

Leo: Sorry, Liam.

~ ~ ~

Smoky: Your mother seems to be distracted by thoughts of you. I wonder why that is.

June: She's a slave to her emotions like I once was, and from what I've heard, she has a dark side. But they seem to be working in sync now. That's a bummer.

Smoky: Your mother and her dark side may be working in sync, that doesn't mean that she has impurities. She can still lose her temper at things, but she seems to be in control of it and she is holding back a lot of sadness from what I can tell.

June: What's so important about this sadness anyway? Every human like my mother has sadness in them, and hold it all back.

Smoky: Kind of like you for instance. You may have physical attributes from both parents, you're more like your mother in personality and in charisma. Both of you have a bond that goes deeper than ours.

June: So?

Smoky: You are your mother's daughter. However . . .

June: What are you on about?

Smoky: You also have traits of your father in you. You just need to find a way to release your father's traits from within you.

June: How do I do that?

Smoky: Follow me.

Dear Journal,

I want my sister to return back to normal and come home to us. Mother has been very sad about June changing and I can't do anything about it. My wish is for mother to help June return to her normal state and come home to us.

Signed,

Steven Wilson

I meet my parents at the table for dinner and we eat in silence. Well, except for some news about my auntie moving in to stay with us.
