I am Equus Ferus Caballus.
A mammal, like you.
I have taken many forms.
Many shapes, many colors, many sizes.
But in all of those forms I am beauty.
I am grace.
I am the wind.
Fast and smooth.
Like the wind,
I rage.
I am a tornado
I do not yield.
Until I was approached by you.
You strange two-legger.
You brought food.
And also restraints.
But I bear them
For the companionship
And the snacks.
We are symbiotic.
You feed me
And keep the rain off my back.
I toil for you,
And carry you.
I trust you with my children
Future workers.
And I teach yours.
Future riders.
When your hands are steady,
Your grip is soft,
We can conquer empires.
Horse and human together.
