Sister

I smiled as I saw my little sister anna enjoying her ice cream outside her school she's alone again, I've come to surprise her.

❝Brother!❞She shouts in excitement as she jumps to hug me.

❝Hi there anna.❞I carried her and starts walking.

❝Can you stay here for good and protect me like old times?❞She stared at me.

❝Anything you want.❞I kissed her cheeks.

We arrived home, my eye brows creases when I heard a sob inside our home.

I put anna down and as I was about to step inside anna held my hand.

❝B-brother?❞She was trembling while looking inside.

❝What's wrong?❞I cupped her face.

She was pointing at the door where the two officers are standing.

❝They killed me.❞I frozed.

❝Cold! Your sister! She's gone she was raped! The officers found her in the forest.❞Mom was hysterical.

❝Help me..❞I stared at my sister, bruises all over her body.

The next day...

We heard screaming as people passed by, I smiled at my sister and looked up the tree in front of us.

The two officers hanging on the tree, I held her hand.

❝Let's go?❞She smiled.
