Jayda POV
"Lei Lei ! Come eat boo." Leilani ran down the steps and sat down next to Herb.
"Daddy?"
"Yes baby?"
"Can you stop smacking so loud? I bet Kamari can hear you!" I busted out laughing .
"That's most definitely yo daughter Jayda."
"Fasho." I said while smiling.
"I gotta head to the studio y'all gon be alright?"
"Daddy nooo ! I wanna go!"
"I took you with me the other day stink"
"But I wanna go again!"
"Ask ya mama"
Leilani looked at me with her big brown eyes and pouted . "Mommy can I go with daddy to the studio?"
"Yea Lei. You can go."
She squealed and went to her room to get ready.
"You sure you gon be alright here? Maybe you should come with us."
"I'll be fine G."
"Nah. Go get ready you coming with us. I'm not leaving my pregnant soon to be fiancé here by herself."
I didn't complain about it. I just went to the room to get ready.

•At the studio•
"Leilani sit down & leave yo daddy alone girl." Leilani kept running back and forth from me to her dad & messing with him.
She sighed and sat down
"Mama this is boring."
"Oh now it's boring? After you whined about wanting to be here. Interesting."
She sighed once more & laid her head on my lap.
After 15 minutes she was knocked.

-3 hours later-
"Herb maybe I should go-"
"Nah baby. Give me 10 more minutes and we can go."
"You said that 3 hours ago." He looked at me , licked his lips & smiled .
"I'm for real this time."
"Herb stop looking at me like that before I find a way to get YOU pregnant."
He busted out laughing & got back to work.
1 hour later & we left.
We pulled up to the house & there was a car in the driveway.
"You know who that is Herb?"
"Go inside. Ima be in there soon."
"Wait you not-" he gave me a kiss
"I said ima be in there soon Jay. Trust me."
I went to the back and got Leilani and we walked inside...

Herb POV
I walked up to the car and went by the window. The guy rolled the window down and looked at me.
"What you doing here?"
"Came to see my family son.."
"Nah you lost that privilege to call me yo son when you left. Now why're you really here?"
"I need some money Herb-"
I laughed , "I knew it. Ain't that what you always want when you try to text or call me?"
"Please Herb.."
"I gotta go inside..my girl prolly worried. Have a good night.
I walked in and Jayda was waiting by the door.
I smiled at her "You was just sitting here?"
"Waiting on you. I wanted to go upstairs together."
I laughed at how cheesy that was.
"Aight baby. Let's go."
"Before we do...who was that?"
I coughed and turned to the side. I told Jayda my father moved & I haven't been keeping in touch with him , but that was a lie..he lives way too close.
"My father." I tried hard not to cry but Jayda was getting all sensitive which was gonna make me get all sensitive too.
"Aw baby I'm-"
"Ion want no pity Jayda...he not dead"
She smiled
"I know herb , but he still wasn't in your life. Why'd he come?"
"Money. Like always."
Jayda walked up to me & gave me a long hug "I love you."
That made me feel 10x better .
"I love you too Jayda...so much."
Man I'm in love with this girl...
