Scorpions are a type of arthropod that have a very bad reputation for having a venomous sting on their tail that curls over its body. They are also highly adaptable and they can be found all over the world. They are carnivores. Their means of hunting consist of waiting in camouflage then striking out at just the right moment to catch their prey. They will then hold their struggling prey down and deliver the final blow from their poisonous stinger. These means of hunting are very efficient and very deadly to their target once captured, because they hardly ever miss.
