The sky is white
The same as the car
The same as the cat
And thunder roars across it
Or was that an engineThe complex's
Warm brown walls
Cut by shadows
Of high ceilinged work spaces
Echoes with the sound
Of various motors
And engines
And machines
Whirring
And clanking
And cursing
The airThe darkness of the warehouse
Concrete floors
Cheap wood walls
Lit by flashes
Orange sparks
White electricitySmoke
Like snakes
Dissipating
Into the airHumid air
Used air
Dirty air
Full of sound
And color
And light
And darkThis is the beauty
Of a metal shop
