The moment you all have been waiting for. The next part might come up next week, because I have a lot of plans the next couple of days.

Don't read if you still haven't watched the movie. All those seeking solace shouldn't rely on this part. It gets better, I promise you.

I'm not going to write the parts without reader in it, so you guys have to remember what happens to Tony and the others in different timelines and stuff. Imagine everything else happening according to plan.

(Y/n) shoved out of her bed and carefully folded it. She quietly changed into a tank top—because her wings still hadn't retracted and she couldn't figure out the mechanism. Shuri was gone and Bruce has promised to look at it, but never found the time— and leggings before running her fingers through her hair and strolling to the washroom. She heard the tap running and assumed it was Steve.
Natasha had taken up the area closest to the training room, and Thor was like the homeless hobo who drifted from place to place and slept on the grass outside at times.
Bruce kept at it with the computers. He slept in the lab, and many times, (Y/n) found herself checking up on him to feed him and put a blanket over him whenever he fell asleep.
Rhodey kept making calls to the government to help sort out the chaos.
The raccoon, whom she found out was called Rocket—a filthy-mouthed, sarcastic personality that repressed emotions through humor was someone (Y/n) wanted to avoid. He was loud and honestly terrifying, seeing as he had bit Thor in the arm for calling him Rabbit.
She just took her own time being alone. She knew that at that point, she was supposed to pull the Avengers together, but they were all so lost.

"And I will give you everything you want," Loki said with a laugh.

(Y/n) laid across from him, playing with her engagement ring. It was the night he had proposed to her. She could only feel happiness. Nothing could go wrong. "And how are you going to get me everything? You already gave me my shop, that's been closed ever since I faked my death."

He pursed his thin lips. "I'll take the money from Tony."

She let out a loud laugh that made his heart flutter. Even after years of knowing each other, she would always make his heart race.

"I suppose," Loki said softly as he weaved his fingers through hers. Her cheeks became red and the smile on her face was so pretty. She was everything he ever needed. Slowly, he climbed over her and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. (Y/n) hummed. "You'd have to work twice as hard to make us an income."

(Y/n) slapped his shoulder. "How romantic."

He touched his nose to hers. Her hands wrapped around his neck. "I will promise you one thing."

"And what's that?"

"I promise to always guide you when you're lost," he murmured and kissed her again.
"And I promise to hold your hand when you feel alone." He kissed her neck and it sent a shiver down her spine.
"Even when it's dark, I promise that I'll make the sun shine on us." Loki kissed her palm and when he looked up, he saw her eyes brimming with tears.

"How-" her voice cracked. "How many times did you practice that?"

Loki didn't have to reply as she surged forward and joined their lips again, in a slow, passionate kiss that burned his promises into her heart.

He whispered words to her that she would never forget.

"I promise to love you for the rest of my life."
