🌥ZIYAN🌥

Groggily, Delilah unlocked her bedroom door with a hand in front of her mouth, blocking the wave of morning breath from reaching me. I let my hand drop to my side, finally having been granted access to her room.

"What's up with you? I don't know what I did to deserve the misfortune of seeing you at this hour."

"I feel the same way, rat."

"What?" she squinted.

I pointed my index finger at her, "You got my fucking arrested because of your dumbass boyfriend. I'm going to court because you couldn't keep your big mouth shut about what I do with my free time."

"Huh?"

Delilah muttered unclear words, shuffling backwards into her room. She was unable to piece together what I was throwing at her. Flattening her palm on to her forehead, she focused on the pink fibers of her rug, saying nothing of value to me. It all came out as a jumble mess of words, breathless puffs of air that didn't string together into a coherent sound.

"I didn't do anything," she stated firmly. "I don't get what you're going on about."

I snapped my fingers. "Yes, the fuck you do. You just fucking haaaad to tell your prissy pal Wyatt that I smoke weed in a state where it's counted as a federal crime! You reckless bitch!"

"Whoa," Brenda cut in ahead of me, squeezing in so fast I only caught a glimpse of her through my burning rage. She appeared as a blur, moving past me with her long mop of brown hair and pressing her fingers to my shoulders. "You don't have to be so mean about it. She didn't know any better."

"I don't fucking have to be nice! She got me arrested!"

"Uh, technically," Delilah pipped up, "you got yourself arrested when you decided to sell schedule one narcotics. Could've saved yourself a lot of trouble if you didn't smoke weed."

"You're serious? You snort coke, fuck out of here with that judgmental bullshit. I've seen you come out of your bedroom with more white under your nose than on a powdered donut."

Her face drastically changed colors, going from a pale shade to bursting red hues against her round cheeks. I was baffled at how quick her embarrassment could take over her whole face, consuming her into a fit of hysterical and uncomfortable chuckles to mask her shame.

"I don't get what you're talking about. That's nonsense. The only coke I do is coca cola."

I nearly fell forward into Brenda's backside, amused at her remark. "You aren't fool anyone. I've seen Clive and that over-grown pinky nail of his, so I'm guessing your hook-up is him since he's a constant user," I said, motioning to her hands. "I went to school with preppy fuckers who snorted that garbage up their nose like they depended on it. I know the nail trick already. You can't trick me."
