Two days later I was finally let out of the room. They said I should stay in until I felt better. I don't feel any better but I don't plan on staying here forever.

I felt so betrayed by my mother, had she sent me to get rid of me? I'm pretty sure she was tired of me already, I don't blame her.

I sat on an empty table in the huge cafeteria. The food smelled great but it looked..not so great. Deciding for a smoothie, I threw my plate away and sat back down, sucking on the straw.

I jumped when a presence sat beside me.

There was many tables here...why here?

"Hi.." the boy beside me mumbled. He gave me a small, almost unnoticeable, smile, which I difficultly returned.

"Hello.." i whispered back.

"I'm s-sorry I didn't help you," he said and I looked at him confused. "When you got here, I mean, I was there I should've done something t-to calm you down.." he said with guilt in his eyes.

My cheeks blushed in embarrassment. Had he seen my insanity?

"I-I'm so sorry y-you had to s-see that.." I chocked out. "I just— i wasn't—i wasn't on m-my r-right state of m-mind."

"I don't think anyone here is.." he said offering me a genuine smile, which, this time, I easily returned.
