Invader Zim: ROTF Part 2 (Old)

Aim at...

(If Anna is shot)

Zim charged up his laser gun and aimed it at Anna. "Anna, before I shoot, I wanna say something." Anna looked up and nodded with a smile. "Thank you for using your powers to  heal me, I don't think I'll be here if it weren't for you." Zim told her with a smile. "Thank you, for everything, Zim..." Anna muttered, before sighing and closing her eyes. Zim couldn't hold back the tears any longer, and pulled the trigger.

(If Eren is shot)

Zim charged up his laser gun and aimed it at Eren. "Eren, before I do this, I have one more thing to say." Eren smiled weakly. "Go on, I'm listening." She said. "I just wanna say, that you are amazing, and I thank you for the lesson you taught me. That the good is not always visible, but it's still there." Zim said as he began crying. "Thank you for everything..." He managed to smile weakly, before he pulled the trigger.

Zim had done it. He saved one of his friends from an agonizing death, but not the other. His other friend soon was torn apart, with blood, organs, limbs, bones, and blood curdling screams everywhere. Zim did his best to hold it all in, but he heard the horrified scream of Hannah from behind. She had witnessed both of her friend's deaths, and Zim was responsible for one of them. "T-This can't," Hannah stuttered, "be happening..."

Zim was now in complete shock. He had no idea what to do. The beasts have left after they finished tearing apart their victim. Zim suddenly heard something faint from the back of his mind, it sounded like shouting. It suddenly grew louder, and louder, and more voices were coming in. In an instant, it all snapped. Zim heard these voices before...

"He's a defective!"

"You killed her!

"You killed two of our previous leaders!"

"You're a monster!"

"He must be executed!"

"What do you have to say for yourself?!"

"Everything you touch gets destroyed!"

"You're nothing but a destructive defect!"

"You monster!"

"You monster!"

"N-N-No! This is a mistake! I'm not a d-d-defect! You got it all wrong!!!"

Zim couldn't control his emotions anymore, and fell to his knees, dropping his laser gun in the process. He was experiencing flashbacks, from what would have been his demise. Yes, he murdered two previous leaders, but he was only a child when he did, and he has no intention of doing such a unforgivable act twice, but just now, he did it again, only this time, on purpose.

Tears were just flowing down as the overwhelmed and sorrowful Irken began sobbing. He then saw his laser gun on the ground next to him. He grabbed it and threw it away as far as he could. Hannah began approaching Zim, who heard her footsteps from behind. Zim's legs suddenly gave out, causing him to fall on his side.

He saw Hannah's pink shoes stepping closer to him. He didn't know what was going to happen, but he figured that he was screwed. Zim curled up on the ground, covering his eyes while shaking violently. He was sobbing so much that he was blinded by his own tears. He felt two arms slip under him, before he was lifted off the ground. He stopped sobbing after a couple minutes, but tears were still streaming down his face.

After what felt like hours to Zim, he felt himself get placed on the ground once again. He looked up, and noticed that he was with Hannah, and that they were in a small cave, that was rough and rocky on the inside, making the surface anything but comfortable. Hannah was still in tears, but she wasn't sobbing. She turned to Zim, and put her hand out. Scared of possible punishment, Zim flinched and covered his face with his hands. Hannah placed her hand on the side of Zim's head, and began to gently stroke him instead of hurting him. She appeared to be trying to comfort Zim, but he wasn't all that sure. Why is she doing this? She just witnessed two of her friends die. Should he be trusting Hannah anymore?

Zim didn't know what Hannah's motives were, but he was slowly losing consciousness. Both he and Hannah had been through quite the battle, even before losing Anna and Eren. Was Hannah planning to harm him in his sleep? Zim was silently panicking, trying desperately not to fall asleep. He feared that he'd be defenceless while sleeping, giving Hannah the chance to do something bad to him. Zim thought that Hannah was trying to make him feel safe, giving him a false sense of security.

His eyes looked up at Hannah, who was sitting right over him. She had stopped crying, and was now smiling at him, but he only saw her smile from his point of view. Zim didn't know what to do at this point, he was too tired to move at all, and he couldn't speak due him sobbing so much back there. He could only pray that Hannah won't harm him, as his eyes closed. Zim was now asleep, with Hannah watching over him. She sat up and waved her arms as if she was throwing a blanket up in the air. With this, a pink blanket with pale yellow fluff on the ends appeared in her hands. She was so good at her magic that the blanket looked legit real. She smiled as she placed the blanket over Zim, before leaning up against the wall of the cave, soon falling asleep herself.
