The gentle pitter-patter of rain filled the air as a figure ran through the night. A silver blade dripping with blood at his side, his footsteps splashing on the cold, wet surface of the street.

"You make the same mistake every time Goggles," said another figure, stepping out of the shadows into the light of a lamp post. "You always run right to me."

"Oh really?" Asked Goggles, slowing down and stopping inches away from the strangers face, "well Rider, it just so happens you made that same mistake too."

The air around Goggles seemed to crackle as he glitched out of existence, reappearing seconds later behind Rider. The hero seemed unfazed by this and spun around facing Goggles.

"Still can't teleport far I see?" Rider smirked, grabbing Goggles and pinning him against the wall.

Goggles grinned teleporting above him onto the roof, "good luck flying long enough to catch me." He winked, disappearing into the shadows. Rider flew up seconds later, resting on the ledge as he looked for Goggles.

Suddenly something came whizzing past his face, grazing his cheek. He flew backward seconds too late as blood trickled out of the small cut, now stinging. A blade was embedded into the wall next to him, cracking the brick around it.

Goggles teleported over it seconds later, yanking it out of the wall and falling a short distance to the ground.
A small bag jingled at his side, filled with valuables belonging to the family he recently murdered.

Rider jumped off of the building, flying towards him in an attempt to grab the small bag. He succeeded, seconds before Goggles teleported above him and kicked him to the ground, using the momentum to flip onto the roof above them. Rider gripped the bag tighter as he fell, hitting the street with a hard thud, knocking the air out of him.

Goggles ran off into an alley, teleporting away to Cod knows where leaving Rider alone in the middle of the street. He sat up, groaning as his side began to bruise from his fall, the bag hung limp in his hands, emptied of all contents.
