3 weeks later
Colby pov
It's nearly 6 a.m and this is the 3rd time this week that I've woken up to an empty bed. Knowing where Erin was, I get up and make my way to the bathroom and find her kneeling in front of the toilet.
C- why didn't you wake me up?
I asked rubbing my eyes as I sat next to her
E- it's early, really I'm okay, you can go-
She couldn't finish before her head was back down
I got up and sat on the edge of the shower rubbing her back
It's been tough, with all the legal trouble going on, Jake, Reggie, Ryan, Erin and Jillian have been in constant contact with the lawyers and figuring out court dates.
The one rough spot we're in now is that a date is set, but we need to fly out there early tomorrow morning. Two big problems with that, Erin can't fly right now, and two she isn't doing so good physically.
Because it is Jake and Erin applying for guardianship of Jillian, both of them need to be present at the hearing, but given the circumstances the court has agreed to let the second party to Erin take her place in court, meaning me. And don't get me wrong I'm totally up for it because the last thing we need right now is for Jillian to go into the system for a year, but I'm also terrified leaving Erin here.
Aaron, Tory, Corey and Devyn are out of the state filming, and 2 weeks ago Elton and Corey really got into it, and Elton ended up moving out. Sam will be here but I'm still not sure it's a good idea. I've been talking to Kat, hoping she'll stay at the house with Erin but I'm still waiting to hear back.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I saw Erin leaning into me passed out. Slowly I picked her up and brought her back to my room. After getting her back into bed I heard a knock on my door.
When I opened it Jake stood in front of me
J- hey Reggie just got here and Jillian is all packed and ready
C- okay, all my stuff is down stairs I just need to get dressed I'll be down in like an hour
Jake nodded and left. I sighed and looked around my room. Ever since Erin and I have been together my room has seemed to get cleaner, I'm not sure if it's me not wanting to embarrass myself with a crap room or just because it looks nicer that way but I like it, I decided I would pick up what little clothes were on the floor still from the past few days before my shower.
20 minutes later I heard my phone buzz on the bathroom counter from my shower and paid no attention to it, but when I got out I had a few texts from Kat
Katrina
K- hey Colby, Sam talk to me about you guys having to leave for court a few days ago and I'm more then happy to stay over to keep an eye on her.
K- Sam texted me and asked if I'd come over this morning and I'm on my way now.
K- hey Colby I'm downstairs I think Sam is still sleeping so I'll let him be and I can hear the shower going so I'm just going to chill downstairs till you guys are ready to leave
I got back to my room and by the time I was finished getting dressed Erin was starting to wake up.
C- hey
I said kissing her head
E- are you leaving?
She asked softly with her eyes closed
C- ya baby, do you want to come downstairs and say good by to Jake Reggie and Jillian?
She nodded still with her eyes closed but slowly opened them
I let her take a few minutes to get herself more awake and once I had my carry on bag all packed I put it on my back and came back over to Erin.
She was still wearing the 3XL big hoodie I bought her a few days ago, it literally comes down to her knees. Once she sat up I gave her my hands and helped her pull herself up onto her feet.
I held her hand as we came down the stairs and walking to the kitchen with everyone else
Jake noticed us first and came over hugging Erin, so I went to Reggie. This is his first time seeing Erin since we told him she was pregnant. After Jake let her go from a hug she walked to Reggie and hugged him tight
J- we gotta get going if we're gunna make our flight
Erin was now hugging Jillian and kissed her on the head before letting her go, then she looked back at me and held her arms open
I pulled her into me with one hand and put the other to her belly. She placed her hand on top mine then pulled my face down and kissed me.
I really am in love with this girl.
Later that night
Sam pov
Erin is in the shower washing her hair and I just got up so we ordered some postmates to be delivered.
S- thanks for staying here to help me with Erin
K- mhm
She didn't look up from her phone, she seemed distracted
S- so how do you feel about Colby saying he has feelings for you
K- ya it's great
She said her eyes still attached to her phone
I got up from the kitchen chair and walked over to her taking her phone out of her hands
S- hey, what's got you so distracted?
When I tried to look at her phone she pulled it away from me then it hit me.
S- wait.. is that Erin's phone?
Kat looked up at me with glossy eyes
