Seven Bundles of Joy

Holding the small bag over your head, You were running,clutching yourself in the cold and rainy weather looking for a shelter till the rain stopped .

The wind kept howling and the rain was pouring down so hard,it slapped onto your skin like whips as you ran.Today somehow felt as if the way home was extraordinarily long.

It seemed as if you had been running for the past half an hour when from a distance, you saw four figures standing huddled together. You found it strange, it was only the four of them out on the streets at this time, other than you. They were under a shed,but it seemed as if they had been running a long while too since when you came closer,they were drenched wet.

When you were almost two feet close to them, you saw them flinch before taking a step back, holding onto each other tightly,scared,as though you would hurt them.

You stood next to them awkwardly before opening the bag in your hand. Feeling them looknat you from the corner of your eyes, you took out your apron before handing it to them,"here... you can dry yourself with this."

The tallest of them who you concluded would be the oldest,took it hesitantly before giving it to the other boys.

"Are you lost?" You asked him to which he shook his head no.

"I'm Kwon Y/n,what's your name? "

"I'm...I'm Hoseok and they are my brothers-Jimin,Taehyung and Jungkook." He said,pointing to the three smaller boys standing behind him,shivering.

"Do you know where your house is? Your parent's number?" You enquired,confused as to why they were out at this time of night in this weather.

"Umm.. we, we don't have a house anymore..." He replied hesitantly,looking down at his shoes ."...Today eomma made us get out of the house. She-she pushed us outside and now we are...I'm scared." Hoseok was now sobbing.

"It's alright, don't be scared,I'm here now. " Widening your eyes hearing the little boy, you crouched down to his level to hug him and you felt him immediately lean into your warmth .In a corner of your heart,it pained so much to know that these kids were abandoned.

"Do you want to come home with me?" You asked him,looking into his soft eyes which seemed to light up hearing those words.

"You would really take us with you ?" He asked,looking up at you with tear stained eyes.

Stroking his hair you smiled , " I promise I will not leave you or your brothers."

You still remembered the day you were dropped at the orphanage. Getting orphaned in the age of six,all you had to call family were your friends from there. You would not let these boys miss out on the love they deserve to get,the love you missed out on.

"Hyungie,Koo sleepy. " You heard the boy who Hoseok pointed out as Jungkook tell him while tugging on his pants.

"Come,I'll carry you." You said to him,stretching your arms out so he could walk to you. Jungkook seemed to hesitate for a bit but awkwardly walked towards you once Hoseok lightly pushed him forward.

Picking him up,you kept him close to you before rubbing on his back, giving him warmth . Liking the new found warmth,Jungkook snuggled closer and wrapped his hands around your neck .

"Come,we'll go home." You told the boys once it was clear that the rain had stopped.

"This is my house." You told them once you switched the lights on. The boys looked around,carefully inspecting the new environment.

You walked towards your room to lay down Jungkook since he was fast asleep,the others following suit. Leaning down,you carefully removed Jungkook's hands from your neck and moved it to his side.

Covering the rest of the boys with a blanket, you smiled seeing the four boys comfortable amd warm.

Looks like I won't be alone after all ...
