Chapter 34

We stayed at my favorite spot in the condo which is the balcony right after we had dinner, me sitting on the hammock swing chair beside Warayne while the two are seating on the two-seater sofa on our left.

Nakuntento na kami ni Camille sa tubig habang nag-uusap tungkol sa kung anu-anong bagay na bigla nalang namin na maiisip while the guys are drinking their beers. We have wine but that makes my node hurts the next day so I skipped it.

The whole night since nang dumating si Warayne, he plastered himself to me and always looked at my face like something would change or what. It should make me awkward or shy but I like the attention he is giving me. I missed him too and if kaya ko lang, baka nagtitigan nalang kami na dalawa buong gabi.

"Merry Christmas!!" We all shouted.

I don't have to go far or even walked a few steps to reach Warayne. Humarap lang ako sa aking gilid saka siya abot kamay na niyakap, pulling his neck down for a warm, tight hug.

He stood straight, lifting me up with him, my feet dangling a little off the floor while still hugging each other very tightly now.

"Oooookay. Sorry to interrupt pero baka naman puwede ko na rin mayakap ang kaibigan ko?"

I pulled my face away from Warayne's neck to look at my friend and laughed. Ibinaba rin naman ako kaagad ni Warayne and I hugged my friend after.

"Thank you so much, Lloyd. For everything." I whispered in his ear .

His hug tightened. "Don't, bee."

I pulled away from him so as not to cry and I just smiled brightly at him then turned to the side to hug Camille. A found a girl friend in her. I really hope that she and my friend would end up together.

"Make my friend happy, we love him both." Bulong ko naman sa kanya pagyakap ko.

She looked at me like she was about to cry when I pulled away from her and Lloyd suddenly pulled her to him and kissed her on the lips. I almost tripped backwards on my own if my back haven't met Warayne's chest from immediately covering my face from the outlandish move of my friend.

Tinawanan lang ako ni Warayne nang takpan niya rin naman ang aking mga mata at ilang sandali lang ay sumunod na ang tawa ng aking kaibigan.

Papasok na sana ako sa loob para kuhanin ang aking phone sa loob pagkatapos akong pagtawanan ng dalawang lalaki nang tawagin ako ni Warayne kaya napahinto ako sa may glass door papasok sa may sala.

"Serene is video calling me. I think this is for you."

Bumalik ako sa hammock katabi niya and answered Ate Serene's call.

I heard a loud Merry Christmas greeting from my family then Ate Hope and Ate Serene started tearing up that it almost crushed my heart that I am not spending my holidays with them.

"Sorry, bunso. We just missed you. Madrama lang ang mga Ate mo." Si Ate Hope with a light laugh.

"Awww. I missed you too, Ate. I'll see all when you guys come back here in Manila." Sagot ko naman.

"Who else is with you?" Ate Serene asked.

I angle the camera to my right and Warayne handsomely smiled at the camera then to my left where my friend and Camille is sitting. They both waved their hands and then I put it back on me.

Binati pa ni Kuya Dex si Warayne at pagkatapos nilang mag-usap ay hinaplos ng bahagya ni Warayne ang aking likod saka sinama sila Lloyd sa loob, leaving me with privacy.

They just wanted to see me and chatted a little, thankful na wala ni isa ang bumabanggit sa Simplicité or I might just bawled my eyes out right here, right now.
