Elisha asked for a double portion.
Festus ruled that Paul was innocent.
Gideon was a mighty man of valour.
Hannah's prayers were fervent.

Isaac almost died, but there was a ram.
Joshua entered the promised land.
Kish was a powerful man,
Lazarus is in the bosom of Abraham.

Moses was used by God to save Israelite families,
Noami panicked in times of famine.
Othniel rose to the challenge to become Caleb's son-in-law,
Paul was zealous under the law.

Queen Esther was an orphan raised by her cousin.
Rachael was highly favoured.
Steven's face shone as if he saw the splendor of heaven,
Timothy was hunble and one of Paul's favourite.
