I can build my walls so you can make them burn
I will take the blame just because you never learn
You will tear me down, then beg to be let in
You'll make me your whole world
Then say that it's a sin
I could be your light and fill the empty space
That love cannot refill and hate cannot replace
I could lift you up, I would be your saving grace
I thought that you'd be mine
But now I see your face
And I'm still not enough, through everything I've been
You've taken me for granted and forgotten how to dream
To live and laugh and love with kindness in your heart
The one trade I can't teach
So I watch us fall apart

Inkblood Poetry
PoetryPoetry is the most efficient way for me to express things, even when I can't define it in a way that makes sense. And I think that's the beautiful thing about it - that poetry doesn't even need to be defined. It just exists.
