Unpredictable ~ Chapter 37. (Edited)

A/N: I've just realised that what I written didn't correlate with the rest of the plot, Shinoa's squad had withdrawn from the army and left with Mika so or course they definitely wouldn't be in the army. Sorry, here's the re-written version, I haven't altered much.

-Y/N's POV-
"Now, I don't know whether to be annoyed or pleased by your visit." I shook my head at Shinoa who sat before me; in my dining room; sporting her signature, 'up to no good' grin which fooled the unknowing of innocence and blinded them from the perverted and sly character underneath,

"I'd prefer the latter." She requested,

"That depends...what's the meaning of your visit?"

"Can't I see my beloved friend who was unlawfully snatched by my evil brother?"

"Of course you can, the dinner is tomorrow and the wedding the day after."

"Well that's no fun." She pouted,

"Knowing your definition of fun and the fact you came here for it, you've come to piss me off haven't you?" I sighed,

"In that case let me begin-" She smirked,

"I'd rather you didn't." I shook my head,

"Wouldn't you like to know how lover boy is doing?"

I scoffed, "Ha, is this a flex? Good for you, you get to see Yuu everyday; why don't you just date him for crying out loud."

She rolled her eyes, "Nice try, if you don't want to know how Guren is doing, that's fine. I'll take my leave now." She stood up, cheekily, knowing full well how I'd react,

"Ok, ok, just sit back down. Yes I do want to know. How's everything at work?"

"There is no work." She started,

"Why not?"

"Have you forgotten how you helped us escape or..." She raised her eyebrows sarcastically,

"Oh, yeah." I sighed embarrassed, "Then how do you know how Guren is doing?"

"I keep in touch with Shinya still." She continued before I could even ask, "Shinya seems fine, obviously he's pissed off but he's doing fine; can't say the same for Guren. Shinya said he hardly sees him and when he does it's in his office and he's really disoriented."

That made my heartache, they were trying to find a way to stop the marriage,

"I'm not concerned about whether they're going to get me out of this, they could leave me and I'd understand. I just hate how this is all because of me." I sulked,

"Y/N-"

"I know he's not taking care of himself, right?" I mumbled,

She nodded sadly,

"Shinoa. I know this is too much to ask and it's unlikely he'll listen to you but please make sure that he takes care of himself. Shinya might help you with this. I'm really sorry to ask this of you but I'm really worried about him."

Shinoa smiled, "Well I can try. You might not like the method but I'll help. I'll also ask Shinya."

"I'm not too concerned about the method, as long as he's eating well and getting enough sleep...stuff like that."

"Are you doing 'stuff like that' yourself?" She gave me a look which seemed to answer for me,

I sighed.

"Y/N, don't they say you have to love yourself before loving anyone else?"

"Well, yeah- but what does that have to do with anything?" I raised my eyebrow at the cliché quote she used,
