"When she eventually announced that you were alive, I was so relieved. I was a crying mess. I turned to Robbie, who I knew was hurting more than I was but he wouldn't move or react, he was just staring at you. The fact that you were alive didn't seem to be sinking in and when his parents arrived on the scene with Nyla, he kicked off and flew away. Nobody has really seen or spoken to him since. He just follows behind the group when we move on."

L's chest ached multiple times throughout his recount of what had happened. They'd all endured so much and her thoughts had been right, death was nice for the one who died. She wanted to go to Robbie, to console him, to tell him it was alright. Except she still couldn't move and she knew Bryce wouldn't let her anyway. She had to hope that Robbie would come to her once his parents found him. They really needed to talk, but for now, there was something that she still didn't understand.

"How... did I survive?"

Bryce must have been expecting more questions, though from the look on his face, he didn't have an answer for her.

"We still don't know, I wondered if it had something to do with Dragon fire but there's no information to check it with. I'm still shocked that Robbie could turn into one. Do you have any knowledge about it?"

L nodded and explained the brief history lesson she received on Dragons. Bryce's jaw fell open and L took a sip of water when she finished.

"That's unbelievable. Come to think of it, it does explain why his parents have always been involved with Surpernatural creatures though. They have a connection they didn't even know about. Wait, so do you think they'll be able to transform as well?"

L's eyes widened. She hadn't even considered the possibility and she half smiled at the thought of Mr and Mrs Worcester in Dragon form.

"I'm not sure. The gene containing the transformation lies in one or both of them... I'd just like to know how it woke up in Robbie."

"It was the Awakening Spell," a voice spoke from behind L. She craned her neck to see who it was when they walked around.

Edra gradually came into her line of sight but her voice sounded lighter, higher even and yet again her appearance had changed dramatically. She had short, wavy blonde hair and she was taller than she had been previously. She could have passed for about twenty years old. She looked beautiful in a blue cloak that she wore over a long, silky blue dress.

"Why does your appearance change more than the weather?" Was all L could think to ask at first. It was something that had been nagging at her for the longest time.

Edra chuckled and ran a hand through her hair, "As blunt as ever, we know you're alright then." She moved to stand beside Bryce. "I like to keep people on their toes and I have the ability to look however I want, so why not?"

L smiled at her answer, "And because people will underestimate a little old lady when they first meet her?"

Edra pointed and made a clicking noise with her mouth, "You got it."

She chuckled and L couldn't stop herself from laughing, it made her cough but it still felt good.

Bryce made her drink some more water and he turned to Edra.

"What did you mean about the Awakening Spell?"

"Well, it's only a theory but I think the spell awoke Robbie's dormant Dragon abilities as well as L's Keeper ones, that is why he became ill. It was meant only for L so it only managed part of his transformation-"

"That's why he was burning bright red when I looked at him using my heat vision? Because the fire was building up inside of him?" L interrupted, it made so much sense when Edra explained it.
