Folen was leading the charge of what must have been hundreds of Supernatural creatures. He was blowing on a large, curved horn and shouting words in Dwarvish that L roughly translated to something about 'the cavalry arriving to fight the scourge'.

Frallica turned to L with a snarl, "This doesn't mean you've won. I've faced countless armies of immeasurable size and still succeeded. You have simple villagers and puny, weakling creatures, they are no match for my Demon comrades." She sent some of the Demons that were with her and two of the flying monstrosities, off to meet the coming cavalry.

L was happy to see that Folen was alright and in good health but Frallica was correct, it didn't mean they would win. It did mean there would be more casualties, more of them to die. She had to end this, it had already lasted too long and it would be getting dark soon. It wouldn't affect her much but it would give some of the others a clear disadvantage against the Demons, who were all made of black or greyish-purple shadows.

L felt someone step up beside her and she glanced up to see Bryce there. He had a few serious-looking cuts and his beanie hat was missing.

He side glanced at her and smiled, "We can do this. She doesn't stand a chance."

L wanted to believe him but they were struggling. There was one of the huge winged Demons for them to fight and with Frallica guiding it, it would be that much harder. Not to mention the numerous Demons that Edra and her friends were fighting with.

L didn't know how many more of the original horde were finishing up their attacks and heading their way.

She peered up at Bryce, "Are you ready?"

He nudged her shoulder and his smile turned to a smirk, "I'm always ready."

L smiled at him and they charged into the attack side by side, moving in total synchronisation. Their training sessions had done more than just teach L Elf magic. They knew each other's moves and ways. It made them an incredible duo and they attacked together with speed and agility, but more importantly force and accuracy.

Frallica ordered her Demon to attack them while she stayed safe on its back. It shot black fire and venomous jets at them simultaneously. They dodged each one but it meant they struggled to land their own attacks. Disappearing was no good, which L found out when she tried. The winged Demon could see through it and it caught the back of L's blouse with one of its attacks.

The fire nearly burned through and if they hadn't been Keeper's clothes, L knew she'd be smelling burnt flesh by now. Luckily it missed her Were-Cat tail too and L quickly retracted it before any fire caught the stray appendage. Bryce gave her a concerned look but she waved it off and they continued moving out of the Demon's range.

"I am tired of this, end it and bring the girl to me!" Frallica yelled over the hisses of the Demon and the sounds of fighting around them.

The gigantic Demon reared up and appeared to grow in size, it had to be sixteen feet tall now. It grew extra arms out of its body, counting the two it already had it was now onto six. It reached for L and Bryce, and missed both, but it didn't stop its attack there; shadowy tentacles now burst from its body and shot at them when they landed from the first attack.

A tentacle caught Bryce's leg but missed L by a hair. Bryce cried out when the tentacle slithered up around his body and constricted. L ran to help but the other tentacles were snapping at her and she couldn't get close. The Demon was squeezing the life out of Bryce and he couldn't move his arms or catch his breath. L fired magic anywhere and everywhere at the Demon; Elf, Witch, Warlock, none of it worked.

She threw a barrier to try and cut off the tentacle but it didn't do a thing, all it did was increase the tightness of its hold on Bryce. He would be dead in seconds if she didn't think of something. L knew what Frallica wanted more than anything. She thought she could obtain the knowledge of the Keepers by killing the last of them. L didn't know how she thought she could achieve it and she didn't want to know but it did give her some leverage. She jumped away from another attack and shouted to Frallica.
