Love Will Play Out

Is it too bad to feel,
As if your soul shattered?
Is it too bad to want who,
Didn't understand they mattered?

Or did they just not care?
Did they think too little,
Of it, as feelings are for them,
Foolhardy, fabrications of sibyl,

It was youthful, yes,
Plausible, not itself,
Count the hours wasted,
And blue papers from the shelf,

Seeing you again,
It made my heart beat,
One more time, before,
Longing became its treat,

Lies won't unfold,
You can't redo the past,
Answers you won't receive,
Regardless, if emotions last,

She questioned you,
And that's what made you joyful,
'Cause answering is easy,
You're the one truthful,

Different responses,
Same query, same person,
Just time apart,
And you know for it's, from her, done,

You were treacherous,
But I too am long gone,
Still hanging onto that nonexistent,
Hope, motherless reborn,

Isn't it insanity,
To do the same thing,
Repeatedly, but expect,
In different resulting,

I'm mad for you now,
Perpetual, can't love another,
This will play out its role,
Doubtful you'll find again such a lover,

It will be my turn then,
And you'll see the difference,
How, you'll accept what you,
Resent, will be love's reference,

Apologise, help,
Be grateful, they're forgivable,
Becomes an echo now,
Fathom strength, nicely forgettable.
