Okay I am soooooooo sorry for not updating in like forever:(

(Kat will not be having a part in this chapter and this will be the last chapy before they start school... so I'm kind of continuing where I left Deven and Alexis until Monday Morn... Then I will be Writing In all five POV's and maybe... If you guys want and are awesome ... we might hear from a few of the other more dominant characters ... maybe:P _)

Deven's POV

After a few moments of standing outside Mia still doesn't return. I can see the worried expressions on everyones faces so I take it apon myself to go see whats wrong with Mi.

I lightly open the door and step out onto her belconie. I see her standing at the edge watching the sunset and looking sad.

"Mi..." I say quietly and slowly. I know she knew it was me. None of the others would follow her out here while she was upset...

"What Dev" She said in a sad, broken tone.

"Honey, whats wrong?" I ask her as I encase her in my arms for a hug.

She sniffles and leans into my hug. I smile hoping desperatly that she's okay.

"Tell me whats wrong" I whisper to her as she burries her face into my shirt. I feel tears soaking into the fabric.

"He hit me" I hear her whisper. I almost missed it.

"What?" I askher increadulously. He couldn't have hit her.

"He hits me Dev." She says while she looks at me with such sad eyes.

"That son of a..." I start but Mi puts her hand up to stop my foul mouth from running it's course.

"Please dont Dev." She says and I nod. Then I think of something.

"He's gonna come to get you tomorrow morning for school isn't he?" I ask and she nods while tears start to fill up her eyes.

"Nope, you're coming home with me." I tell her and she looks at me shocked.

"My parents like you and then you can just hitch a ride with me to school. Deal?" I ask her and her face lights up with new hope.

"Please." She says and I smile. That peice of shit wasnt going to hurt Mi again.

"Mum I'm home!" I call and I hear a muffled hi coming from the kitchen. "Mi's here too!" I call and my mom is imediatly there hugging her and cooing over the fact that Mia is never here anymore.
