For @sparklyturtle17 "I'm tired and my bed feels so empty without you"
It was 3am and you were pacing your living room trying to call your boyfriend, Lando. You had left 10 miss calls and about 1000 texts. Earlier this evening you two had gotten in a huge argument while celebrating your two year anniversary.
Lando had been in Australia all week for the race and due to your work commitments you sadly couldn't be there. While you had cooked a nice romantic meal Lando was upstairs on his simulator getting ready Bahrain. "Lando! Dinner is ready!" you shouted up the stairs, "god, it's like having a child" you said under your breath as Lando was coming down the stairs. "What was that?" Lando looked confused, "nothing babe" you said shaking your head.
You couldn't lie it had been the most stressful week of your working life these past weeks and Lando had been jet lagged from travelling an stressed with all the pressure and the fact it was his first F1 weekend ever. Lando had been home since last Wednesday and to be fair you hadn't had the chance so properly sit down and chat. "So how was Australia?" you asked sparking conversation. "Well I mean yeah it was great. You would've known if you came" Lando said the last part under his breath however you still heard. Lando couldn't lie he was salty about the fact you didn't come to Australia with him. "Well I'm sorry but I do have real work to do" you argued back. "What? And my jobs not real?" Lando frowned misinterpreting your statement. "Oh my god babe, that's not what I said. I'm just saying I have work and you know that. I would've loved to come but o couldn't and I'm sorry" you defended. "Okay but you're always 'at work', my first F2 race you were 'at work', my last F2 race you were 'at work', testing in the winter 'at work'. I'm sure you have a fun time 'at work'" Lando using hand actions every time he said 'at work'.
You were fuming, how could he say that when you loved him so much and you would do anything to be there with him. "Well I can say similar, I don't know what you get up to when you are away. You probably have all sorts of women lined up." The anger just came out of you, you didn't realize what you said until it came out of your mouth. "You didn't...." Lando looked so hurt, he couldn't believe what you had said. He walked straight out the apartment you two shared.
That's the position you were in now, trying to get a hold of Lando. It was now 4am and you couldn't sleep unless you knew he as okay and safe. You didn't know what to do so you rand him Mom hoping he had walked to his parents house. You were correct his mom answered the phone and passed it to Lando. "Babe please I am so sorry. You know I don't think that. I was just angry because i want to be there more than you do. Please come back, i'm tired and my bed feels so empty without you" You sobbed. "Okay i'll come back but we need to talk about this in the morning" Lando didn't say much and just ended the call.
You went to the bed you shared and lay down, it wasn't long until you felt the other side of the bed dip down and you feel your boyfriends body. You turned around to see his back, you wiggled your arms around his muscular body. You kissed his back and whispered 'i love you'. He turned around and kissed your forehead, "get some sleep beautiful, we do need to talk but i do love you too. Forever and always".
You fell asleep with his strong arms wrapped around you. This made you realize how you never want to lose the love of your life.
