"It's incredible, it's like having an encyclopedia inside my head. Did you know the oldest Elf is still alive and is believed to be over ten thousand years old?"
Bryce chuckled and nodded, "I had heard that rumour. You'll have to be careful not to get overwhelmed when you meet different species, and you'll have to figure out what and when you're going to tell the Council."
L groaned loudly, "I know I have to tell them but I don't even want to think about their over-excited reactions. And how do I know I can trust them with this? Especially after what Kreleth and Demon-Deana did."
L received a rush of information on Demons as soon as she thought about it and her lip curled.
"Ugh, the knowledge on Demons isn't exactly bedtime reading."
Bryce laughed lightly. "Like I said, be careful what you access and how much, you can still tire yourself out. I'll be here to help however I can, I'm sure it'll get easier as time goes on." He smiled and when L smiled back at his encouraging words, he kept going. "But you need to consider telling the Council sooner rather than later. I'm not going to tell you who you can trust but they'll figure it out eventually. Their reactions will depend on how they find out and it might take the pressure off if they know sooner."
They discussed the ramifications and endless possibilities of L's new 'open-mindedness' until the Worcesters arrived and Bryce excused himself. All three of them fussed over her and made sure she was happy and comfortable.
"What are we going to do with you two? If you aren't hurt, you're unconscious or finding more trouble to get yourselves into."
Mrs Worcester glanced from L to Robbie while she spoke and he bowed his head. She had definitely lectured him about what they'd done.
"I talked Robbie into it. I didn't like not knowing and I felt like I needed to find out what was in the room. It's my fault as usual, but it turned out alright in the end."
L went on to explain to them what had happened to her and what it meant for her abilities. They had a range of reactions, Mrs Worcester looked worried, Mr Worcester was intrigued and Robbie was grinning.
"You'll be able to learn things in seconds, I bet you know all kinds of magic and abilities now. Yeah, you'll be able to destroy Frallica so easily when the time comes," Robbie said and he was strangely excited about it.
But L didn't have the chance to react to his odd behaviour because his words set off a new flow of information, this time on Frallica. L got a firsthand account of some of the atrocities Frallica had committed in her long, despicable life. L had to force a stop to the flow after a few minutes, she felt sick to her stomach.
"L, are you alright?" Mrs Worcester asked and she placed a hand on L's shoulder. "You've gone a little pale, dear."
L nodded, "I'm fine... it's just that every time someone or something Supernatural is mentioned I get a flow of knowledge on it. I just need to learn how to pick things out when I want and leave the rest."
L was still reeling from what she'd found out but thankfully Robbie distracted her.
"Is there anything in there on us?"
L raised her brow at the random question but as she thought about the three of them, nothing sprang to mind.
"No, sorry, I think you're completely 'natural'."
Robbie looked disappointed but Mr Worcester clapped him on the shoulder. "Exactly as it should be. You get in enough trouble just being you, we don't need to add Supernatural gifts to the mix."
