I glared suspiciously at the back of his head, I wanted to find a way to escape his hold his nails digging into my skin making me struggle but to no avail only to have his nail dig even deeper.

"Mi amore don't struggle against me." I moan lowly, "B-but you're hurting me." He freezes and his grip loosens from my wrist his eyes instantly showing regret.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Please don't struggle against me I hate that, please." I nod hesitantly already forming an escape plan.

On the walk back I looked around until I found the perfect pathway to go and once I did I would lose him and when he did chase after me I will lead him into the trap I had set earlier today.

As we approached closer to the pathway, I waited for the right moment my chest pounding. At the little crossing I released my wrist from his grip taking him by surprise as I ran on my two legs feeling the burn as I push myself.

Haden has always told me to never turn around whenever I was being chased by someone, or something. But I heard a feral growl that shook the ground which made me run even faster I feel beads of sweat running down my forehead.

I turn to see a dark wolf chasing after me I gasp looking ahead, I knew I couldn't outrun him he shifted into his wolf form! How could I outrun an Alpha wolf?

I couldn't but he was angry I felt it an enormous amount of burning in my chest I didn't know whether it was from the burn of my lungs nearly giving out on me or of this mate bond.

Before my banishment my mom had told me all about the feelings your mate gave you, whenever you guys touch you felt a strong shock or tingles it was something every couple had it was unique.

Or how during the mating process he was required to claim you as his and after the mating process everything was more stronger and you were finally his.

But it always seemed like my dad was never happy with my mom after a few rogues had attacked our house she has been more distant from him and everyone in the pack it was me who she has gotten close to.

Haden has told me alittle about the mate bond like how when the male finds his mate he was to immediately make her his. He has this possessive instinct to always protect her and to have her especially if it was an Alpha.

I felt his paws vibrating under me I hear his growl fanning my legs before I knew I was on the floor breathing heavily trying to catch my breath unable to.

I looked into his dark wolf eyes, it frightened the hell out of me all I saw was anger and pain swarming in them I close my eyes as I waited for his consequence.

I opened my eyes when I felt his weight off me I looked around but heard him behind a tree he walked from behind the tree shirtless with a pair of basketball shorts.

I couldn't help but let my drift upwards at his defined chest his perfect eight pack and his muscles in the right places, I felt my cheeks heat up as I brought my eyes back up to his.

"Mi amore you will regret that." I gulped loudly my nails digging into the ground, "I-I can't be with you." Looking away from his intense gaze.

I felt him approach me slowly putting his finger under my chin bringing my eyes back to his, "I will have you, even if that means you being the death of me."

I sigh closing my eyes feeling his breath fanning my face, "That's the thing I can't find the place in my cold heart to harm you, when that's all I want to do."

A smirk crosses his face bringing a scowl to mines, "It's the mate bond each day it gets stronger and stronger and it will be that certain day where you cannot stand but be by my side at all times, you'll always be mine.
