I wake up yawning and cracking my back with a painful expression on my face, cursing myself.

How does Haden do this everyday? I stand up groaning I walk through the door to see Haden on the kitchen table with a plate of eggs and a newspaper.

"Morning Avian take a seat I made us eggs." I glare at him, "I can make my own thank you."

He chuckles lightly as I take a seat, "Don't be so bitter." I pick up my fork pushing the eggs around lost in my own thoughts.

It's been only two years since the death of my mother and my banishment from my father and finally meeting my childhood best friend again who I've hated ever since I found him killing our pack members behind our backs.

He glances at me through his newspaper, "Aren't you going to eat?" I roll my eyes scooping the egg and putting it into my mouth.

"You know Avian after teaching you everything I thought your hate for me would've settled down I mean c'mon you're just like me now."

I glare at him through the newspaper blocking his face, "I have my reasonings you did it for the fun of it."

He slams the newspaper down his golden eyes intense, "I didn't do it for the fun of it I hunted wolves because they were monsters I've seen your dad he's a monster what he does to humans how the hell are they suppose to know they crossed a wolf territory?"

I look away feeling my eyes brim with tears at the thought of my dad and his ruthless actions.

"Hey Avi I'm sorry." I turn my head and look at him angrily, "Don't call me that." He sighs loudly and continues looking at his newspaper.

"Anyways have you heard a few wolf howls last night?" I shake my head not looking at him.

"Well last night I heard it and I left around midnight and I was able to catch two with the silver chains." I nod happily every wolf killed is a wolf closer to extinction.

"So did you kill them or did you haul them?" He shakes his head behind the newspaper, "How do you keep forgetting? Wolves are stronger during the full moon I had to kill them or else they would've ran away."

I nod mentally slapping myself of course it was the full moon. It took a long time until I was finally able to fight the full moon looking the silver around my wrist and ankles feeling the pain helped keep my wolf away.

Now I barely felt my wolf I was human, but I knew it was still there but it didn't bother me as much, I wasn't a monster like they were.

Me and Haden helped bring peace to this world taking away all the supernatural the wolves had to go.

I decided I couldn't eat anymore of the eggs throwing them in the sink, "I'm gonna go hunting around the woods."

He looks at me, "Want me to come?" I shake my head, "I'll be fine you stay safe." He nods a slight smile on his lips before going back to his newspaper.

I walk down stairs realizing that, that was the first time I've ever been nice to Haden.

I open the metal door pushing my way through looking around deciding what to bring never knowing what wolf I would meet along the way, I grab my backpack on the side of the door putting in a silver bullet gun into my backpack, then grabbing silver chains and wolfsbane.

I put the backpack on and exit the house no longer seeing Haden there, I walk out the house going north.

Walks like these were also nice just walking past the trees and the sun shining at the right spot I always loved nature I realized that I have lost my pace and gone to far.

I heard leaves rustling crunching I instantly turned around on instant my hearing instantly aware if things. Being a wolf hunter was easier then being a human hunter I bet I scan around the bushes and the trees I continued to walk alittle further until I heard a growl.

I closed my eyes a smile coming to my face I turned around to come face to face with a male looking at me his eyes scanning my face from head to toe.

A smirk appears on my face as I slowly move my hands behind my backpack reaching for the gun.

"Well what do we have here?" I roll my eyes at his greetings but nearly dropping to my knees his voice bringing shivers to my spine so husky, deep.

"My god you're beautiful." I freeze in the moment I feel dizzy. Why was he affecting me? I feel the handle grabbing it out quickly as I can putting my fingers into the trigger and I quickly point it at him directing it at his heart.

Before I knew what was happening the gun was taken away from my gripped and I was pinned on the floor. I let out a gasp of surprise, I clench my teeth trying to forget that his big hands were on me sending shocks through me.

He stares at me with anger in his eyes, I knew that every male wolf was this hard to bring down. I quickly brought my knee up hitting him right in his baby maker sending him into pain as his weight was brought off me I open my backpack taking out the other gun.

I glanced at him but fear instantly flooding me when he was no longer where he was I pull out the gun faster this time my hands shaking smelling a strong scent of trees and cologne.

I hold the gun out scanning he forest. My chest pounding that's all I can hear, suddenly I was thrown against the tree the second no longer in my hand, "So you're a hunter? How cruel fate is."

I stare at him confused, fate? "What the fuck do you mean fate?" He smirks his dark eyes boring into mines I feel the strong power radiating off of him my fear increasing he was an Alpha, I've taken down a beta but never an Alpha.

"Now mi amore why is my beautiful mate a hunter?"

Mate?

That explained the tingling touches, the attraction and the wobbly knees I mentally slapped myself in the face I knew I couldn't take him down me Haden was to far to call and I was still pinned against a tree his strong grip overtaking me.

"I-I."

"Mi amore don't be scared of me."

I glare at him, "I'm not scared of you, or anyone let go of me." He laughs his laugh sending shivers down my spine.

"I don't think so, you're mine and mine only mi amore. I'm taking you home with me where you won't hurt another wolf ever again."
