"Hello Alpha Thaddeus of the BloodLake pack speaking."

"Yes hello Alpha Thaddeus it's Alpha Ryder."

"Oh hello Ryder how's it been?"

"Not so good, two of my pack members have gone out running and haven't returned back yet and my beta believes that they were hunted and killed."

I clench my jaw tightly feeling anger and hopelessness rise up in my chest, "Who do you think is hunting all these wolves?"

The line goes silent for a while, "Many sightings of a female and a male just them two, but the thing is their both wolves as well."

Shock floods me as I try to comprehend the words, a werewolf hunter whose a werewolf as well? "That's impossible a wolf can not hunt its own kind."

A sigh comes from Ryder through the line, "I wish it wasn't so hard to believe but a few members from other packs have witnessed the female hunter taking down another wolf and her scent clearly revealed she was in fact a wolf."

I shake my head rubbing my face harshly, "Okay I'm on it thank you for informing me Alpha Ryder."

"No problem Thad call anytime."

I slam the phone down anger and frustration coursing through me, a female?

It was impossible it was a shock already that a wolf could hunt another wolf but a female hunter? She must of had Alpha blood in her since male wolves were stronger.

I couldn't stand the thought of my members getting harmed since Ryder's members are missing.

"Nixon please gather everyone in the yard I need to speak to them about something very important." I mind linked my beta.

"No problem." I sit back glancing around the room before standing up stretching my limbs and walking out to the yard.

I step in front with Nixon next to my side, "Usually I don't do these kinds of things but this time it's urgent and it's for your own safety." I paused as I heard multiple whispers and gasps.

"There has been hunters hunting down our kind and they have already hunted two of Alpha Ryder's pack members and several other wolves, I don't look forward to seeing that happen to me. Therefore I want everyone to be extra cautious whenever outside or whenever you're taking a run stay close to our boundaries."

I scanned as everyone had fear written on their faces, "Alpha."

I look down at my feet smiling to a young girl named Bell, "Yes Bell?" Her eyes starts to water my heart breaking.

"Alpha will we die?" I shake my head showing a reassuring smile, "Of course not I will keep this pack safe."

She nods wiping her tears away her mom looks at me with a smile on her face, "Alpha are they human hunters?"

I freeze and stare into the crowd, "No, no they're not."

"So what're they?" I was hesitant to say what I was about to say next not able to bear what would happen to the pack or how it would effect them.

"They're wolves just like us." I saw as everyone had fear in their eyes but tried to fight it off quickly determination on their faces, "I will try my best to sort this out with the help of other Alpha's to get them caught."

I scan the crowd one more time before dismissing them.

Me and Nixon stand a while longer, "Wow werewolf hunters, freaky." I chuckle shaking my head.
