To one side of the room was Greysan, whose eyes appeared to pop, his warriors and allying Packs. Most I had met but there a few that gave me questioning looks. Opposing Greysan on the other side of the room closet to me was another male, an Alpha with thick dark hair but clean shaved. This male had all the qualities Id find seriously staggering if I hadn't had Greysan for a Mate; his eyes were dark though, sadly.

Besides him was a shorter male with a beard and piercing blue eyes he regarded me with annoyance. Both were Jatts, I knew from the tattoos on the Alpha's bulging biceps and written in the old language. (Jatts were another branch to the tree of Punjabi.) The translator was dressed in a full suit with a navy turban and no visible tats or marking but I knew Jatts only likes to employ other Jatts. It was a racial matter and preference thing, but one many found reasonable in places like my old city. It was about trust.

"Atte yae kaun?" The raging Alpha asked too calmly, staring at my face down to the hair following past my chest.

[Who is she?]

His translator stood with a stiff spine and regarded me for a second. Greysan, whom wasn't too pleased with my unexpected arrival, growled his pleasure when realizing the eye rape his other Alpha was doing of me. His warriors flinched at the vicious sound but looked ready to launch into attack mode.

I sucked my breathe and replied, in the language he expected, rather sourly, "I am the Luna of this Pack, Manpreet, and Greysan's Mate, and Id really like to request if you could refrain from glaring at my chest."

I was starting to like this suit even more for the sudden surge of confidence it gave me. The padded bra was helpful too. The Alpha rose an eye and Greysan looked from him to me? probably because of the mention of his name and the word Luna. With my hands placed on my hips out of habit, I whirled and roared at the man with the beard. "Do you even understand Punjabi?"

He bares his teeth at me. "How dare you, you lousy bitch." He cursed in English as his mistake. Greysan was going to lunge when his Warriors held him behind.

"Karan?" The Alpha called with the desi accent. I finally took notice of the men surrounding the second Alpha, all glaring at me as if I were on the menu as meat. I couldn't suppress the eye roll I just had to do; even back in the city, brown males always seemed to have tendency to stare as if they've never seen a girl.

Karan, the translator, said to his Alpha. "Don't believe her for one second. Her Punjabi's just as betraying as she herself is. She is no Sikh and not one of us."

I snorted, loudly enough to get all their attention despite not wanting it. "I think I'd know if I came from a sick culture of people where mother -in-laws need proof of her daughter-in-laws virginity by having them show the bloodstains," I said in English to his face and then translated as best as I could for the Alpha without flinching. That wasn't just in the Punjabi community to accept such monstrosity but also in the brown society it was a saddened norm.

Greysan's eyes were livid and pulsing between amber and honey; a fight of dominance to see which emotion would run true, rage of his wolf Sylis or Greysan's warmth. It was a war of control I knew too well in my own mortal way.

I turned to the Alpha and decide to say the truth of what Greysan meant to say, of how he wants to welcome trade and communication for the benefit of both Packs.

After I was done, with my trembling being, I stalked to Greysan who was standing silently on his own in the center of his herd. He wrapped his fingers around my skinny waist and kissed my brows, closing his eyes and whispering how good I looked in red when fighting and defending. I gave him a brief summary in a matter of a few words of what I said to the once enraged Alpha.
