He'd never be able to forgive himself if he was the reason she was beat again. He would love her from a distance. They wouldn't be able to love each other in peace the way he knew she wanted to.

"I'm gonna go put him in his sleeper. Meet me in the pool so we can talk."

It was late so the cameras wouldn't be able to pick up anything unless she turned on the lights in the backyard. This had become routine. They would sneak around in the backyard to talk and hug and kiss every now and then but they had promised to stay away from anything sexual.

Little did Raven know, Stephen had placed motion sensor cameras in the back yard and had seen the two hugged up last night. Tonight as he sat in the driveway he waited for it to happen again. After crying her heart out and wanting him to stop cheating she was doing the same with his closest friend.

He couldn't wait. He couldn't sit around and let another man love his wife the way he was supposed to.

As he stood at the corner of the kitchen he waited for David to come down. The pitter patter of his feet hitting the stairs rapidly made Stephens breathing uneven. His nostrils began to flare while he clenched the knife in his hand a little harder almost breaking the wooden handle.

Reaching the last step David met his fate. Stephen moves quickly shoving the knife into his torso time after time. Harder and faster while David lie on the floor watching his life flash before his eyes. A terrified Raven stood in the doorway of the patio fumbling with her phone to call the police.

Stephen could hear the rings and panicked immediately. Tossing the knife and chasing Raven around the front room.

But it was too late.

He had to leave.

He made a mistake out of jealousy.

As his friend lie on the floor fighting for his life Stephen grabbed his keys and went. He drove far enough from the house to change his plates and make his way to the runway where his private jet was located.

Before boarding he sent a few text to Raven apologizing and sending over some people to help David out.

"This is Raven Ace, sorry I cant get to the phone right now, but if you could leave your name, number, and a brief message I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as possible good bye."

"Please leave your messages after the beep."

"Look Ray I know I fucked up, but you fucked up too. We've both been moving kind of sneaky and some time apart is probably what's best for us anyways despite us having two newborns. But ummm... yeah. I guess I'll contact you when shit dies down. I love you."

Hanging up he tossed his phone and rolled over it repeatedly.

Back home Raven cried and prayed over David. She was the reason he was bleeding out on her living room floor. All because she couldn't keep her legs closed and her lips to herself. She didn't believe that Stephen would actually kill over her but she shouldn't have been so surprised.

As her sobs became hiccups Sergio and a few other men rushed into the home and made their way beside her. Applying pressure to his stab wounds.

Luckily they would be able to keep him alive. He would be getting some work done and some stitches put in but he would be as good as new after some healing.

After hours they finally allowed her to see him. His eyes flickered open and shut until he fell asleep.

"He'll be fine by the morning just make sure he stays hooked up to these and he doesn't do much moving."

"Thank you so much Sergio what can I do to repay you?"

"Nothing my love, just continue being the beautiful person you are. That's payment enough."

She smiled, he always knew how to put a smile on her face.

"Thank you."

They hugged and he and the men went on their way.

"Hey Siri."

"What can I help you with?"

"Read my notifications."

"You have 1 new voicemail from. Baby daddy yellow heart yellow heart. Would you like me to play it?"

"Yes."

"Ok. "Look Ray I know I fucked up, but you fucked up too. We've both been moving kind of sneaky and some time apart is probably what's best for us anyways despite us having two newborns. But ummm... yeah. I guess I'll contact you when shit dies down. I love you.""

"What would you like me to do with this message?"

"Delete."

"Voicemail deleted."

She locked her phone and climbed into bed with David. Words would never be able to describe how sorry she was for letting this happen to him. He wanted to protect her, yet she couldn't protect him. She couldn't keep him safe. The more she lay there the more she thought about distancing herself again and just accepting her life with Stephen and the kids.

This was the last straw and no one else deserved to be hurt because of her. And she had made up her mind. As soon as he got back in contact with her she would let him know that she was done playing game. She was his and she accepted that now.

If he wanted more children she would have them. If he wanted sex he could have it whenever, wherever, and however he wanted it. She was done trying to rebel.

His obsession had gone too far.
