This is a story about a girl who moves to a new city and her life changes in the best way possible. It's all about changing perspectives and understanding other peoples differences and accepting them for who they are. This isn't just another black girl ends up with a white boy story. I hope as a writer I can be able to show how people can accept each other for who they are and that they don't have to be chained to the past that they can make something beautiful and new out of bad experiences.
