The following message is a message I posted to a chat box with some of my IRL friends.
Can I vent for a moment here? Over the past while, I've been using a site called Wattpad to read and write fanfiction about Hermitcraft. The other people writing similar things are all very close (although not knowing each other IRL) and even have a chat on Discord. However, I'm feeling left out, since I'm always just the author in the corner doing everything on her own and not a real author. I'm going to post this same bit to Wattpad and see how it fares. Wish me luck.
This occured to me when I was reading a fic by fakesymphonies that had a lot of involvement with other authors, and that made me realize that I'm not one of them. I'm not a real author. Why did I ever think I would be part of something? Well, there go my dreams. Again.
I'm not expecting any of you to do anything. I just need to vent.
