Genko's P.O.V.

None of could believe that Rinmaru Nara had betrayed the village... her father was crying while holding onto her headband... he was lost so was Haru and Kakashi.

I was just shocked... I was hurt but thinking about it I realized that for the past 2 weeks she had been dropping hints of some sort to us, she told us she was leaving the village for a mission... all of us knew that she had been declining any mission given to her.

I would see her go off into thought when we hung out, she'd glare at the villagers. I hated myself for not picking up the signs

we were all gathered at the hospital to hear the news of the hokage.

"Attention, The Hokage will be fine.... we will be sending wanted posters to each nation... Rinmaru Nara is wanted dead on sight" the announcer shouted

I see rin's dad freeze.

he stands up and leaves

"genko..." I hear Haru whisper to me

"I know..." I say as he grabs my hand

I could see how many people were affected by this..

many knew her, the ones she injured she knew, she had gone on missions with them, gone to the academy with them but she didn't hesitate in hurting them.

Rin was no longer someone I knew, I decided to visit My family... the family she just left.

"I have to go" I tell haru and Kakashi

haru releases my hand and walks away with Kakashi.

I head to the Nara compound and to her house.

i could hear the sobbing of the women i called mom.

it broke my heart.

opening the door i saw her on the ground holding onto her headband and Shikaku standing there covering his eyes.

i rush over to her and hug her.

she sobs loudly into my shoulder

"shes gone... why... why did she" my mother sobs

"its ok.... shhhh" i tell her

"get yourself together... Shikamaru will be home soon...we need to tell him" shikaku tells her gruffly

i let her go and grab a wet cloth so she could clean her face

"thank you Genko" she says

"of course" i tell her

"Genko could you go and pick Shikamaru up... take him to get dango or something, i i need more time" shikaku asks me

"of course... I'll bring him home at 4" i tell them before leaving

i head to the academy, and i try and think of a reason why Rin would do this... she said she was faking her life the entire time... but i didn't believe it

"Shikamaru" i say as i spot his pineapple hair

"Ah Ni-san" he says walking over to me with Choji

"could you get Naruto, and sasuke... Rin asked me to treat you guys out" i ask him

"uh sure... um choji wait here" shikamaru says and he leaves to get the 2

"Hello Genko-san" choji says

"Hi choji i was hoping you could let me have time with the 3 i have some news i have to break to them" i tell him

"is it about Rin-san?" he asks
