After informing my "new family" that I was going out I went up to my room. I wanted to look nice but my clothes was still packed in boxes. I considered unpacking because I had plenty of time but I ended up opening one box and pulling out the first pants and top I seen. I liked the outfit but it could've been better. I looked around my half decorated room and sighed.
I checked my phone again and decided to video call j and lo. They answered a few minutes after my call
"Come home eve" Jake said the second I answered the phone
"You know I would if I could j..." I said back trying to smile
"Eve don't worry, I have a wrestling competition in 4 months and there's a 500 dollar prize for the winner, mom said we can go see you if I win! I'll be training extra hard!" Logan said smiling from ear to ear.
"You don't have to spend your money to come see me, but if you do I'll be so so happy" i grinned.
We talked for a few hours until I had to leave
"Ok boys, I've to go meet up with some new people I met yesterday, I'll talk to yous soon" I told them.
They looked surprised that I already made friends here. We said are goodbyes and then I hung up. I texted e, gray, Chrissy and Danny separate telling them I'll ring them later and telling them all separate how much I missed them. I grabbed a hoodie I already unpacked and pulled it over my head. I quickly brush my hair and pulled it into a messy ponytail. I hid this ponytail under my hood pulling the strings loosely to tighten it slightly.
*time skip to when I arrive at the mall*
My first impression of the mall was it was slightly intimidating. I opened my phone to text ben
Message to Ben: I'm here, bit lost... I'm outside a Starbucks can you come here to me?
Message from Ben: of course, we'll be there in two seconds
I checked my messages and saw two new ones from Chrissy
Message from Chrissy: just wanted to say that I miss you already... loads
Message from Chrissy: so Danny said that message made me look weird and desperate... pretend you didn't see it!
I giggled into my phone before replying
Message to Chrissy: I miss you too<3 tell danny to be quite!
After I saw the message send I closed my phone. When I looked up I saw Ben and Corey looking at me.
"Hey" I said smiling shyly at the two boys
"Good to see you again" the tall boy said pulling me into a hug "Incase you forgot my names Corey, yours is eve right?"
I nodded and looked at the blonde boy reminding myself his name was Sam
"Sam, right?" I said raising an eyebrow at him after noticing him staring at the floor
"Eh.. ye..." he said awkwardly
Growing up with Jake and Logan in Ohio I wasn't used to people being shy. I giggled and turned looked over to my shoulder wondering if we should sit down
"What do yous want to do?" I asked swapping my glance between the two
"Well we could get some food, or we can give you a tour? Up to you" Corey replied looking at his friend with a puzzled expression
"A tour sounds great! Are yous hungry? We can eat first if yous want, I have all day" I noticed ben still staring at the ground
"I just need to go to the bathroom" he announced loudly before exiting the coffee shop
"Ehm ok..." I said looking at Corey
"He's shy... I think he has a crush on you" he laughed "he talked about you all day yesterday after you left and he completely refused to give my your number... I shouldn't have said that... pretend you don't know ok?"
I nodded my head while laughing. I could feel myself beginning to blush. He paused before changing the subject "so what school are you going to be starting in September?" He asked
"Ehm... Hibernian school or something, I don't know what it's called really... I'll be there for 9 months before I move again" I told him
"That's awesome, me and Ben are in that school! Where are you going after this?"
"I'll be going to England"
He looked puzzled, before he could talk ben walked in.
*time skip, they gave me the full tour of Candice and their favorite spots before walking me back to the house*
I turned to Corey and gave him a hug
"Bye cor, talk to you soon" I said. He looked confused that I called him cor he shrugged before hugging me back and saying bye
"Bye ben" I smiled before pulling him into a hug too. He stood there awkwardly until I walked away.
