Someone's POV

It's been two months since mother and father left.l would work at the store near my school for money and food, the manager who owns the store, was kind enough to give me a job, aside from my young age and other flaws.

But...

The serial killer keeps showing up everywhere I go in my house. He would suddenly show up at the corner of my room or at the other side of the shower curtain while I'm taking a bath and disappeared, but I've grown accustomed to it and every day I would be hunted by those dead eyes.

One morning, while I was eating eggs and bacon, on the dinner table, he suddenly appeared again, on the opposite side of me, tilting his head, trembling and smiling with his eyes wide open, I can hear a crippling sound like the crunching of dead leaves as he stares at me.

I didn't care, I've grown so accustomed to it, that I just ate my breakfast and left to school.

"Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!"

"Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!"

"Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!"

"Settle down now!" Says the teacher.

The buzzing sound of students in the room echoed in my head. I covered my head on the table trying to drown out the noise. everything became peaceful again until.

" het you wanna be my partner ?" The girl asked

Her face was layered in makeup and her sickening perfume makes me puke, I knew that if I said no she would ask me again and again later.

"Fine," I said.

After school we walked home, I began to ask, "what are we going to do again?"

"I'm glad you asked, the teacher told us to make a steamed crab at home and videotape it, to show to the class," she said.

"Ok," I replied while looking up to the dead trees dancing in the wind.

In no time we are finally at the doors of my home. I'm happy that I get to have a friend in the house, but as I turned around, to close the door, behind me I saw him again, leaning on a dead tree in front of the house, he looked like, he was about to do something, I can see the scratch marks he left on the tree and his eyes was as wide as it was, but I just ignored him, his only a figment of my imagination, it's not real.

We began preparing to cook, while she was boiling the water I videotape it and in less than thirty minute's we were almost done.

"You look tired why don't you relax and watch tv, while I clean up in the kitchen." She smiled.

"No.....um your a guest I'll do it" I pleaded, it was embarrassing for me to be the one to sit down and rest.

"No, I insist." She said and I just raise my hands to admit defeat.

I walked to the sofa and put my headphones on to sleep. I hope the crab doesn'tovercookk
