"Evan!" A familiar voice called, just as Evan entered his building. It was darker than usual as the streets were starting to fall asleep now. The lights in the lobby were dim and the watchman seemed to be asleep.
"Jared" Evan replied turning around.
There he was. The handsome devil.
With his deep brown eyes and his beautiful dark skin and his soft dark hair and his abs and his voice and the way he looked at Evan.
But looks could be deceiving. And Jared was the perfect example of this.
The only time he ever came to Evan was in the middle of the night. He never talked to him about his feelings or never told him things about himself.
"I'm not looking for a serious relationship Ev"
That sentence had been said so many times that it was etched into Evan's brain.
As Jared started walking towards Evan, Evan's breath started hitching in his throat.
"What're you doing here?"
"I had to see you"
