Coming Out

Cyrus's pov

I started walking towards the doors of the school when I saw Buffy jogging to me.

"Hey Cy, did you see Amber's new brother,"

"Yeah me and Andi saw him yesterday actually"

"How'd it go?"

"Um I-it was fun" she gave me a look.

"Fun? How so"

"Just hanging out with them was pretty cool"

"So was her brother cute Cyrus."

She said emphasizing my name. My eyes widen at her. "where did you get that idea"

I said feeling my face starting to heat up. "Andi..."

I groan knowing this was gonna happen sooner or later.

"Of course she said something."

"Well I'll catch you later Cyrus"

I waved to her as I turned the corner to go to my locker.I pulled out the books I needed and close my locker. To my surprise Tj was standing behind the locker door making me jump.

"Sorry Cyrus" he said half laughing. "its okay teej"

"Do you have your schedule?"

"No I have to go and get it from the front office you wanna come with me?"

"Sure" we started walking and got to the office.

Principle Metcalf was just coming out of his own office.

"Hey Tj right?"

"Yes sir"

"Here's your schedule and Cyrus is it? show him around the school and to his classes, you guys have until first period ends"

He seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere.

I was really happy I could show Tj around by myself and I had a whole period to do it. We walked around the school eventually coming to a stop as the second period bell rung

"Guess that's our cue"

"Yeah I guess"

"That was quicker than I thought it would take"

"Hey I heard there was some kind if diner up the street you wanna go?"

" And skip school...I-I don't know Tj"

"C'mon Cy, it be fun"

"promise we won't get caught?"

"I promise"

Tj crossed his hands over his heart.

"Alright fine" I finally gave in.

"That's the spirit Cy"

We had walked to the exit doors on the side of the school and when no one was around we left.

We had ran until we got onto the next street.

I was out of breath when we stop on the street next to the diner.

The diners name was 'The Spoon'.

It had a weird name to it but I'm pretty sure I've been here with Andi and Buffy.

Tj and I walked into 'The Spoon' and sat down in one of the booths along the wall. I started at him for a moment then looked away when he turned towards me.

I was sure I was blushing when I felt my face heat up.

"You okay" he asked kind of smirking.

"Y-Yeah im fine"
