So,I recently have looked at my Wattpad books and had a discussion with someone and just need to get this off my chest.
Don't just read books and comment a few times,but don't vote.
The reads are an amazing thing,but the author never knows if you like their book or not until you vote.
I understand that people can forget that,but it just pisses me off if I see people commenting on my book,but not voting even though they told me that it is oh so good.
Votes do matter to people. They encourage the author to keep on writing and some people just need that to actually continue with their books. Reads show how many people read your book. And now look at popular books. Look how many people read it.
Around 200K.
Look how many people voted. Not even half of the readers actually vote and it's honestly just sad at this point.
It's even worse if these people end up pushing the author to update that book.
So if you ever like a book and enjoy the content,drop a vote and a nice comment.
It won't take long after all and it would make the author whose writing you adore so much,very happy.
Every vote matters.
