You are the sound wave
that makes my heart fibrillate
Your words sweet and sharp
heals and injures
my already broken heart
Hey, why are you running so fast?
Lets hold our hards to make through
my brisk tornado
just like we did
to survive your cold cyclone
Your promises—the deafening echoes of bells
warning me to let you go
But what about my
disrupted peace and the wounds that bleed
Why would you turn me into an unworthy bark?
When I was fresh lemon juice and morning walk.
