MaNan room:

Nandini who had slept in car woke up after a while and saw Manik sitting beside her and lost in deep thoughts. Nandini called him twice but he didn't respond. So finally she shook him.

Manik turned and saw Nandini awake.

" Kya hua Manik " Nandini asked looking at him.

Manik looked at her and taking a deep breath asked her the question that was roaming in his mind from long.

"Shona, Abhimanyu aur Avni ne joh Madhyam ke saath itna sab kiya woh sab unhone tumhaare revenge keliye....tumhaare dukhon ke badle keliye kiya. Haa unhone kaafi nuksaan pahunchaaya usse.....but wo toh tumhaara gunhegaar tha na. Usne joh bhi kiya usme sabse zyada takleef toh aapki huyi.....then why didn't u punish him. Punish kya you didn't even say him a word. Ulta tumne toh fab5 se bhi waada leliya ki koi usse kuch karega nahi...usse chuyega tak nahi....aur waha bhi jab usne tumpe comment kiya that time also u stopped me from reacting.....why Shona.....are u still scared of that Singhania" Manik asked cupping her face.

Nandini kept looking at him and then said, "You are right Manik! Usne aaj tak joh bhi kiya sabse zyaada takleef usse mujhe huyi...
Uss hisaab se toh mujhe badla lena chahiye tha......but mujhe ek baat batao .....kya aaj tak uski mujse koi personal dushmani thi.....nahi thi...phir bhi usne hume alag kardiya toh agar ab mein usse revenge lungi aur bhagwaan na kare wo Jail se chuta ya kal ko uska koi shub chintak saathi agaya toh tab wo kya kuch nahi kar sakta hein....mere badle ke aag mein wo mere saath saath Ma, papa, Avni dii, bhai, Kryssy, Bhaiyu sabko jala sakta hein. ..aur Kryssy ka baccha....uspe toh iss duniya mein aane se pehle hi khatra mandraayega....kaun bachaayega tab hume...I know Bhaiyu, Avni dii capable hein sabko safe rakhne mein......but ek revenge keliye mein undono pe itni badi zimmedaari nahi daalna chahati aur aage unki bhi apni families hongi aur khatra unpar bhi hoga tab......har waqt saawdhaani mein jeena...ajeeb sa darr....aisi zindagi jeene se accha toh mein revenge hi na lu.....aur ek se revenge leke kya karlungi mein jab ki puri galati uski thi hi nahi.....aaj usse revenge lelungi toh ye koi guarantee toh nahi degi na mujhe ki aage kuch galat hoga nahi meri zindagi mein.....aakhir uska plan kaamiyab hua hi kyu.... issiliye na ki bharosa kisi aur ka hi dagmagaya tha.....usse revenge leke kya karungi mein agar mere hi rishte ke jade kamzor hein toh.......tab toh koi bhi rishta tod dega ....kin kin se badla leti phirungi mein phir..... issiliye chod diya " Nandini said all these looking straight in Manik's eyes.

Manik was entirely shaken listening to all these. He was soo confused regarding her thoughts, 'was she scared of Madhyam for her beloved ones', or ' did she really want to be away from all these revenge' ' did she think that Madhyam was not at fault for all that happened' 'He know he was at fault but did he again fail to gain her trust back within these days that she is still scared of drifting apart' so many things were roaming in his mind.

He came out of thoughts as Nandini shook him.

" Dinner karne chale..." Nandini asked. He nodded and both went out.

During dinner Nandini was normally talking with all but everyone noticed the change in Manik's behaviour. He was unusually silent. Nobody questioned him thinking as this was a big day he might be tired of day's happenings.
