It's me again God,

I am so blessed to have this quiet time of the day to draw aside and focus on You! As I open Your Word again to Romans, I find such reassurance about my position as Your child:

"For when the time was right, the Anointed One came and died to demonstrate his love for sinners who were entirely helpless, weak, and powerless to save themselves. Now, who of us would dare to die for the sake of a wicked person? We can all understand if someone was willing to die for a truly noble person. But Christ proved God's passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!"
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:6-8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I am loved passionately by Your Son who came with one very important mission to fulfil —to die in my place! Thank You that You did this Jesus, even though You knew how sinful I would be. Thank You Jesus that Your blood shed on the cross means that I am righteous in the Father's sight!

"And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, "You are now righteous in my sight." And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God. So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciled us to himself through the death of his Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in his resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sin's dominion! And even more than that, we overflow with triumphant joy in our new relationship of living reconciled to God—all because of Jesus Christ!"
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:9-11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Thank You for all You have done for me, even when my heart was turned against You and I was doing things my own way. It just amazes me when I think that You will never show Your wrath toward me because Jesus took all the punishment I deserved! It's so reassuring to know I am fully reconciled to You through Jesus' death and resurrection!

Jesus, I thank You for all that I have because You died and rose again. Not only do I share in Your resurrection life but I am also free from sin's domination and control of me! Thank You that I can know triumphant joy in my relationship with You and go on living in peace every day!

In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
