Chapter 8

Sabrina's POV

I woke up from a good sleep... I haven't been getting much sleep since I'm soo busy with music and now acting. I realize that I'm covered with a blanket... I guess one of the ladies that work here covered me.

I look to my right and see Shawn sleeping... he looks so cute when he's sleeping. Looks like he also hadn't been getting enough sleep too. They announce that we will be landing soon. I tap Shawn on his shoulder so he could wake up.

Sabrina: Shawn... hey wake up.

Shawn: can't I get 5 more minutes mom...

Sabrina: Shawn wake up..... and I'm not your mom but you'll see her soon.

Shawn: oh- sorry sabrina I thought I was back home already...

Sabrina: you are home Shawn.... were about to land.

Shawn: really!!! Amazing, I miss my family soo much!!

Sabrina: I bet you do...

The airplane lands and we get off. We get our suitcases and head to the exit of the airport.

Sabrina: well I guess I'll see you tomorrow Shawn...

Shawn: I guess soo... wait were are you staying???

Sabrina: Toronto plaza hotel.

Shawn: that's near my apartment if you want I can drop you off instead of staying in this crap traffic waiting for a taxi and an Uber will take long cause of the traffic.

Sabrina: are you sure Shawn?? You seem tired.

Shawn: I'm 100% sure Sabrina.

Sabrina: thanks a lot Shawn... really

Shawn: welcome Sabrina.

SHAWNS POV

I usually park my car at the airport parking lot. I open the door for Sabrina.

Sabrina: thanks Shawn.

I start the car and off we go! I put all time hits on Spotify... lost in Japan comes and Sabrina starts singing to the song.

Sabrina: "so you got plans tonight??? I'm a couple hundred miles from Japan and I, I was thinking I could fly to your hotel tonight... cause I I I can't get you of my mind"

She continues singing and I'm just looking at her amused and just admiring her beautiful voice....

She caught me staring. She waves at me and I snap out if it.

Sabrina: you ok??

Shawn: you sure know all the lyrics to my song.

Sabrina: how can I not it was my jam all year long in 2018 and till now... I even did a little Instagram cover!

Shawn: really?? I never seen it....

Sabrina: it's fine... it was a long time ago I year ago... on posted it on New Year's Eve.

Songs keep switching and there comes a song... it's Sabrina's!!

She starts singing the lyrics and I sing with her.

Shawn: you like New York New York City in the day time....

Sabrina: I like New York City in night time..

Shawn: you say you like sleeping with the air off....

Sabrina:I don't I need it on..

Sabrina: you sure know the lyrics to the song?!?

Shawn: of course.... heard it everywhere and feel in love with the song.... my New York song. And my all time song, it reminds me of the Romeo and Juliet story.

Sabrina: it was inspired by that... even if 2 people are completely different... these differences connect them.

Shawn: sabrina... your such an amazing songwriter... I can't wait to sing with you and hopefully write a couple songs together!

Sabrina: me too .... you inspire me by your amazing... your such and amazing person and singer. You aspire a lot of people and put smiles on peoples faces when they hear you sing.

What Sabrina said was soo sweet, I really do appreciate when other artist notice my work. It really means a lot.

Sabrina: Shawn the road!!!

Shawn: oh yeah!!!

Shawn: thanks sabrina for those kind words... it means a lot coming from you!!

Shawn: same goes to you I see your influence on peoples live how the crowd goes crazy over and the support from your fans is overwhelming.... your such a humble person, and that's a quality that not a lot of people have...

Sabrina: omg Shawn Thad soo sweet * blushes*

I can obviously see Sabrina blushing... it's cute

Sabrina's POV

OMG I'm blushing.... it's soo embarrassing. What should I do when Shawn mendes is complementing you?!?

Shawn: I guess were here...

Sabrina: oh- thanks a lot a lot seriously....

Shawn: you say thank you a lot.

Sabrina: I guess I'll se me you tomorrow morning...?

Shawn: for sure you'll see me me tomorrow.

Sabrina: ok... bye Shawn.

I give Shawn a hug after he helps me take my suitcases out of the back of the car.

I enter the hotel lobby and look that Shawn now drove off after I got inside.... is he making sure I got in safely?!? He is really a sweat heart.

I check in and go to my room and lay my back on the bed. I feel so tired... but the first thing I think of is Shawn. Weird.. do have feelings?? I'm pretty sure they'll go anytime soon. They're just tiny feelings. I fell asleep right after.
