Cliff's POV
Pabagsak akong bumagsak sa aking kama.
My mind kept the words she said playing like a record.
She's giving up on me.
She's finally giving up on me.
I gulped as I felt my eyes stinging. I immediately covered one arm on my eyes as I breathed heavily.
'I'm giving up on you Cliff'
Tila nababaliw na napatawa ako habang tumutulo ang luha.
Shit.
I knew this is the right thing. It is the right thing to do.
But why am I hurting?

A cry escaped my lips and I clamped it down, knowing that it will just get more complicated when she heard me crying.

I let the tears flow as I buried my head on my pillow.

I clutched my chest, hoping to ease the pain I feel.

When I woke up it's already 10 am and I've missed my first two classes.
But that's not what matters to me.
What matters to me is what happened last night and that today, everything will change.
I felt a tug in my gut as I anxiously looked at the mirror in front of me.
There stood a pair of bloodshot eyes, looking at me blankly. As if it lost its purpose, its shine, its... life.
I forced a smile and although it looked like I was joker from the movie batman, I figured it's still better than letting everyone know I cried.
Grabing a concealer stick, I started to apply it under my bags.
I know, it's gay. But I don't care. Concealer helps to hide these kinds of things.

I sucked in a breath and breathed it out. Then I squared my shoulders.
"You're okay Cliff. This is a happy day. The gangster's finally giving up on you! This calls for a celebration!"
I smiled and laugh.
And without looking back, I made my way to school.
"Yo!" I greeted my 2 buddies when I spotted them at the cafeteria having snacks.
They looked at me and rose a brow.
