Shooting started and everything was going smoothly. Everyone was getting along, the director is doing a great job with his adaptation of my story, and Harry stopped being too pushy and more friendly. We were called on set to shoot the scene of the first date between Amelia and Nathan. We were standing on the front porch set, next to the door, all dressed up in fancy clothes, him wearing a suit, her wearing a beautiful red dress, as Nathan just arrived to pick up Amelia.

'Action!' Anthony called.

'Wow! You look... just Wow! You look amazing. I mean you looked amazing yesterday in regular clothes with messy hair, no makeup and glasses, but this is just as breathtaking.' he gushed as I smiled shyly at the ground.

'Thank you! You don't look so bad yourself!' I answered cheekily.

It was so easy doing this with Harry, mainly because there's not much acting to do. For the first part of the movie, we're literally reenacting our time in L.A. last summer, with some small modifications. After filming the front porch scene and the car ride it was time for the dinner conversation scene.

'Knock knock' He said.

'Who's there?' I chuckled.

'A cow goes'

'A cow goes who?'

'No, a cow goes moo' as he said that we both laughed hard. As lame as that joke is, it doesn't fail to get me every time. He settled down and stared at me with amazement as I was still laughing.

'Nate, What are you staring at?'

'Nothing, I just love your laugh, and I think you have the most intriguingly beautiful smile ever.'

'Intriguing? What's intriguing about it?' I asked.

'I'm not sure. It's just when I see you smile, I can't help but think that you've been unhappy for so long that you actually forgot how to be happy. But then, there's that rare moment where something good happens, or something funny, and you're happy again, but only for a very brief moment, and then it fades away. I guess what I like the most about it is, well your smile is like a gem, it has been under so much pressure over a very extended time, and now it has become this rare, precious and beautiful thing.'

The most difficult part of acting is tearing up on cue. But between Harry's soothing voice and the beautiful words he says, It's easy to get emotional, it's easy to tear up, and I did as the script says.

We finished shooting the scene and Anthony yelled, 'Cut! Good job everyone! That's a wrap for today. See you all tomorrow! Thank you!'

'You know what's so frustrating?' I blurted.

'What?' Harry chuckled.

'Having this delicious food in front of us while I'm starving and not being able to eat any!'

He laughed at that before he argued, 'Nobody told you not to eat anything when they served lunch! Did you have breakfast at least?'

'No...' I mumbled.

'Come on let's go get some food into you before you pass out!' He suggested holding my hand and motioning me to follow him.

I looked at him, raising an eyebrow.

'Don't worry, it's not a date type thing, I mean sure it's dinner, but as friends.' He reassured me.

'Alright but you're forgetting something! We need to change first. Meet up out front in 10?' He nodded.

We changed, met out front where he led me to his car and then drove to a regular fast food restaurant.

'You know, I'm so happy you included my favourite joke in the script'

I laughed and then explained, 'Well sadly, it's one of my favourite jokes too.'

'Sadly?' he huffed.

'I mean yeah it's one of the lamest jokes out there!'

'That's why it's funny!' He beamed as we both broke into a fit of laughter.

'Hey, you saw your sister back in Paris! How is she? And How's little Zack? I saw the pictures of you two in Saint-Michel, you looked adorable! You know, for a person who's scared of babies!'

'Oi! I'm not scared of bab- Okay yeah I am. But he's my nephew and I love him. There's always an exception to the rule. Besides after the first couple of times holding him, it's not so scary anymore.'

'Pigs are flying somewhere!' He said looking around.

'Knock it off! What about you Mr. "Never gets cold"? You're literally wearing three layers and a scarf!'

'It's January in London! If I don't do that I get Hypothermia!' He defended himself.

'Still! I'm wearing less than you and I'm not cold!'

'Sure tell that to you're red nose!' he sneered.

I pouted, rubbing my nose with the back of my hand feeling how cold it is.

'So, Cassie. Tristan Hayes, huh. What's up?' He teased.

'We worked on a movie together, we became friends. End of story.'

'Really? That's it? I saw you two at your birthday party. You had a glow in your eyes. So did he.'

'He gave me a really nice birthday gift, I was happy about it, he was probably happy that I was happy with his gift. There's really nothing going on more than a friendship.'

'Alright. So tell me more about the movie.'

'Well, I'm not supposed to say much, you know, contract.'

'Come on, it's not like I'm going to tell anybody about it!'

I told Harry everything about the movie, and we continued talking till late evening, cruising around in the car, singing to the songs on the radio. It was a nice outing. I've missed not overthinking about every little details, worrying about everything, calculating every possible outcome and its risks. That's what hanging out with Harry did to me, when there isn't anything forcing me away. Around Harry, I can be who I am, no matter how weird or crazy I could get and that's one of the reasons I got so attached to him. I still wasn't sure of the limits I needed to put when it came to the two of us. But when we're together, it didn't matter much. I was happy. Until, I was back in my flat, alone, overthinking.

He drove me back to my flat and walked me to my door, 'just in case' he said.

'So tonight was fun!' he burst.

'Yeah, I haven't laughed this much in a while. Thank you!'

'My pleasure!' he paused as our eyes met, he shot a lopsided smile at me, 'Well. Goodnight, Cassie!' He hesitantly opened his arms a little suggesting a hug but unsure whether I'd agree to it. I smiled at him, taking a step forward, closer to him, wrapping my arms around his waist, his right arm tight around my back, the other holding my head into his shoulder. The familiar warmth of his embrace is back again, making my heart beat so hard and fast he could most probably feel it. I took a deep breath loosening my grip, ready to pull out of the hug. He pulled me away slightly, cupped both my cheeks with his large warm hands and kissed me tenderly on my forehead, whispering 'Sleep tight!' He let go and walked away, not looking back.
