it had been over a week since y/n went out with changbin. after that, she started feeling lonely. again. she had replied to messages from the boys at underground seoul with dry texts, not being in the mood to talk to anyone.
wednesday morning, y/n woke up to the sound of her alarm going off. it took a while for her to wake up, being a deep sleeper and all, but when she did, she silenced her phone and rolled over on to her back. staring up at the ceiling, she let out a sigh before actually standing up to get ready for school.
hyunwoo, taehee, wooks, hyungseok, and janghyun were all older than y/n and minsung, the two of them being the only ones still in high school. for minsung, he was a senior while y/n was a junior, but fortunately, the school year was already on their second term.
throughout the six hours, the girl spaced out for most of it. she even avoided minsung which wasn't as difficult as she'd expect since the grade levels had different schedules.
when the dismissal bell rang, y/n gathered her things and stuffed them into her backpack. she then started to make her way to the front gates.
"y/n!" someone called.
stopping in her tracks, y/n took out one of her earphones and thought for a second. it didn't sound like minsung or anyone from underground seoul, so who was it?
footsteps were heard as they rapidly reached her, stopping before she was pulled into a hug.
"j-jeongin?" y/n stuttered, seeing the familiar face.
"we're gonna go on a date, and i'm going to cheer you up~" said boy cooed while pulling away with a smile.
y/n couldn't help but return it. her stomach flipped at the fact that jeongin even thought about cheering her up, let alone actually waiting until she finished school.
"cheer me up?" she asked.
he nodded and linked his arm with hers, "i saw your post this morning. i don't want you to leave unless i'm coming with."
slightly laughing at the older's cuteness, y/n obliged and let jeongin pull her along to wherever he had in mind.
