Chapter 8

*A Few Days Later*

Zoe's P.O.V

I'm finally okay! I'm so excited, I get to go home today.

I can actually be able to go outside and breathe the fresh air.

I've been stuck in here for the past week, because the doctor wanted to make sure I was stable.

He also said that I have to start taking medication for my anxiety. I'll be taking 2 pills once a day.

Trust me, I would even shave my head to get out of here.

There is one thing I'll miss though, my new friend Samantha.

She has lukemia, and I met her the day I woke up.

She is so beautiful, and she is the nicest little girl you will ever meet.

She's eight years old and she's been here for 2 months recieving treatment.

Her mom is really nice too. Her name is Alexandra and she's in her early 30's.

She said Sam is getting better everyday. At this rate, the cancer might go away.

I am really gonna miss Sam & her mom but I promised to come and visit, and I intend to keep that promise.

Spring Break, it has been one heck of a ride.....

Oh my gosh, THE PROJECT!!!

I call Emily immediately.

*Convo*

Z- Em!!!!

E- What??!!!!

Z- We need to do the project!!!

E- Shit! You're right!

Z- Call everyone and tell them to come to our dorm tonight. I'll be home in about an hour.

E- Okay. See yah soon

*End Of Convo*

I got dressed and then checked myself out of the hospital.

I walked outside and realized that I didn't have my car.

I called the only person I could think of, that wasn't Emily.

I dialed the number, it rang a few times before he picked up.

"Hey, I'm at the hospital, can you pick me up?" I asked

"Sure, I was just leaving to go to your place anyway" He replied

"Thanks, see you in a bit" I said

"K bye" He said and then hung up

I waited about 6 minutes, before his car came into view.

I walked over and got in his car.

"Hey" I said

"Hey Zoe, how you feeling?" He asked concerned

"Good thanks, and also thanks for picking me up Alfafa." I laughed

"No problem, little one" He said and I smiled and the nickname

We drove with the radio blasting Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud".

It's Alfie's favorite song at the moment. Or at least that's what he said.

We sang together through the entire song.

Alfie:

He looked at me and smiled(we were at a stoplight).

But we finally made it to my place, and went upstairs.

I unlocked the door, and saw something I knew I'd see at one point.

My best friend and brother were making out....
