"So, one thing you'll want to know about this place is that we don't usually burst out in song to talk about our feelings. Save the freestyling for rap battles." You said as you led the team through the streets to a local pizza place.
"Gotcha." Steven replied, finger gunning.
Eventually, you got to the restaurant.
"Can I get a cheese and a pepperoni pizza?" You said.
"Okay, that'll be $8.75."
Once you had paid, gotten a table, and waited until the pizzas were done, you started eating.
"So, I'm wondering, why did you order two whole pizzas?" Steven asked. "Pearl hates eating, and Garnet doesn't eat very often either."
You motioned to Amethyst, who was stuffing pizza in her mouth, about five slices at a time. Pearl was watching in horror.
"Oh." Steven said.
"So, what do you guys want to do?" You asked the group.
"I wana waff dah thee-fee shoh yoo wur thakin abouth." Amethyst said, her mouth full.
"Huh?" You said.
"She wants to watch the TV show you were talking about, that we star in." Garnet said. "I speak her language." She added, chuckling.
"Okay, we can do that." You replied.
You and the gems ended up at your house, sitting on the couch in front of your TV. You pulled up the first season.
While watching, they kept commenting things like, "How did they get this footage?!" "They mimicked my voice perfectly!" "That looks just like how it actually looks!" "What's with all these cliffhangers?!" etc.
Suddenly, you got an idea.
"Guys, we should go to a convention!!" You said.
"What's that?" Pearl asked.
"It's like an event of some kind. But what I'm talking about is an event dedicated entirely to, well, YOU! We could go to Comic-Con! I think there's one in about a week, and your voice actors are going to be there! As well as Rebecca Sugar herself!"
"Who's Rebecca Sugar?" Amethyst asked.
"She's the creator of the show! She's basically God of the Gays."
"She can't be God of the Gays. I'm God of the Gays." Garnet joked. "Although Pearl is also a worthy candidate." Pearl began to blush and avoid eye contact.
"I think that sounds awesome!" Steven said. "But, wouldn't it be bad if we were gone for a week? No one would know where we are, and we might not be able to participate in the show."
"Oh, you don't have to worry. The show won't be continuing until this fall."
"Oh, wow. Really?" Said Amethyst.
"Yeah. Like I said before, the hiatus is killing us all."
"Well, I'm in." Said Garnet.
"It sounds fun." Said Pearl.
"Heck yeah!" Said Amethyst.
"Yay! This is gonna be awesome!" Said Steven.
