"You're from a different universe?!" The two kids said in unison.
Steven looked really excited, on the edge of his seat; literally. Meanwhile, Connie looked like a mix of confused, shocked, and terrified.
"Who, what, when, where, why, how." Connie said, breathing heavily.
"I'm who I say I am, I'm from (city name), (territory/country name), and I don't know how the ffffffffffudge I got here."
"So, what's it like in your universe?!" Steven asked, stars in his eyes.
"Well, it's pretty much the same, except gems didn't invade the planet. So, um, none of you exist except in this universe and maybe some others. I'm not exactly an expert on the multiverse yet."
"So wait, if we don't exist in your universe, then how come you know so much about ours?" Connie asked, a little more calm but still surprised.
"Hoo boy. Ummmm..... well..... in my universe, you technically don't exist......"
"Go on......"
"But..... youguysarethestarsofaTVshowthathasmillionsoffansallaroundtheworld."
"Really?!" Steven said jumping up and down. He faced an imaginary camera and shouted "Hello world!!" while waving his arms rapidly.
"Sorry buddy, but I don't think they're airing right now." You say casually.
"Aww...." he said, letting his arms drop.
"Yeah, the hiatus is killing us all. But we still love it. Seriously, this universe is so much better than my own."
"So.... how are you gonna get back home?" Connie asked.
"I don't know." You said, curling into a ball. "I don't know......."
