You walk around Beach City, very confused about how you got here. However, you were excited to check it out nonetheless.
You decided to get something from the Big Donut, so you walked in and saw Mr. Dewey at the counter.
"Hello, what can I get for you?" He said.
"A regular glazed, please."
"One classic Dewey, coming up!" He said, reaching in the display case to get your donut.
"Hey, I haven't seen you before. Are you new in town?" He asked.
"You could say that..." You say awkwardly.
"Well, welcome to Beach City!" He said excitedly.
"Thanks. I'm Y/N."
"Bill Dewey. Y'know, I used to be mayor of this town. That's how I was able to tell that you were new."
He handed the bagged donut to you and you got out your card to pay. "Oh no, it's on the house! A welcome to the newcomer!" He said.
"Oh, thanks." You said.
"Something you may want to know about this place is there are a lot of strange goings on. Sometimes these weird monsters attack. But the Crystal Gems always save the day! I don't know much about them, I just know there's a tall, square one, a short, purple one, and a hot one." He blushed.
"Oh, and Steven! Everyone likes him."
Then you heard a voice you would know anywhere.
"Speak of the devil!" Dewey said cheerfully.
