I shine like an old flashlight
A flickering deep orange of warmth
A fuzzy glow emits from my stomach
There even though exhausted
I shine like an old flashlight
When I stand with others,
Urging colors to bloom on loved surfaces
And glimmer around the corners
I shine like an old flashlight
When I watch the people I've helped
Glisten and twinkle before me,
Knowing I was just one part
